Carnegie Mellon University’s Professor Randy Pausch was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and as the disease quickly ravaged him, he put together his last interview for his students, and ultimately for the young family that he would be leaving behind. Randy Pausch lost his valiant battle on July 25th, 2008, but not before his lecture had been put out on DVD, as well as in book form. The lecture is just over an hour long, but the words of this young 47 year old husband, father, teacher resound to all of us, for, after all, life is a journey, not a destination!

I would love to someday achieve my dreams! My dreams were to own my own business and be a writer one day! Hopefully, as I am working towards achieving that dream other Americans will encourage me! A person who served their country deserves at least that much respect?

All men speculation, but not equally. Those who day-dream not later than edge of night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to become aware of that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the hour are menacing men, because they may dissimulation on their dreams with exposed eyes, to cause them possible.
