With a 55-45 vote in the United States Senate, Vice President Michael Pence gaveled the confirmation of Judge Neil Gorsuch as a Supreme Court Justice into history. After the Democrats voted in such a manner as to trigger the nuclear option, the seat of the late Justice Scalia was filled with a judge of impeccable honor and integrity.

And thus begins the Reshaping of the SCOTUS. In the four years, possibly eight, that lie ahead for President Trump, I predict that there will be AT LEAST two more vacancies to fill. Given that the Libs have triggered the nuclear option, the conservative Court will shape our judicial branch for at least a generation.

The Tea Party movement has been chastised and belittled, labelled as racists and extremists, particularly for comparisons of Barack Hussein Obama to Adolph Hitler. Yet, in our technology age, it was not that long ago that the Democrats, and the far left wingnuts, used the dreaded “H” word and the famed “moustache” to attack George W. Bush and/or the Republican Party.

But the best line that comes from that segment was a statement from Sen. Robert Byrd. It says it all, and what can we say, it describes every pathetic action that the Obama administration took to cram ObamaCare down our throast:

SEN. ROBERT BYRD:  Historian Alan Bullock writes that Hitler’s dictatorship rested on the constitutional foundation of a single law, the Enabling Law. Hitler needed a two-thirds vote to pass that law. And he cajoled his opposition in the Reichstag to support it. Bullock writes that, ‘Hitler was prepared to promise anything to get his bill through, with the appearances of legality preserved intact.’ And he succeeded. [Edit] And that’s what the nuclear option seeks to do, to Rule 22 of the standing rules of the Senate.

God Bless the Honorable Sen. Robert Byrd with a life nearly as long as Strom Thurmond!!!!
