It has now been a bit more than two months since our consulate and CIA-annex in Benghazi Libya was attacked, and our Ambassador and three brave heroes were brutally murdered. In the days, weeks, and months since the attack, we have seen the fawning media IGNORE the matter altogether, fearful it would derail the re-election of their beloved Obama.

Now the Obama team has secured its second term, and it appears that they are driving the proverbial bus over those who are not willing to be dismissive of the Libya debacle. After all, if Libya on 9-11 WAS A TERRORIST ATTACK, it diminishes the narrative that the foreign policies of Barack Obama have made a positive change for the United States.

With the added salacious sex-scandal that has ensnared Gen. David Petraeus, the mainstream media is now giving THAT ANGLE coverage.

There being so many questions regarding the events PRIOR to the consulate attack, the actual attack and the President’s lack of candor, the bungled PR stunts of Ambassador Susan Rice, and the investigation of Petraeus, is it not time now that we stop the “self-investigating”, and get to the T.O.M= the TRUTH of the MATTER?

It is now time that we know the “who, what, where, when and why” of Benghazi, and hold those responsible accountable on behalf of the brave Americans who died there!

from the Weekly Standard:

Charles Woods, the father of Tyrone Woods, who was killed in the 9/11 terrorist attack at the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, reveals details of meeting Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton at the publically broadcast memorial service for the slain Americans at Andrews Air Force Base only days after the attack. And, in a recent radio appearance, Woods publicly questions who made the call not to send in back-up forces to possibly save his son’s life, as well as the three other Americans killed in Benghazi (which includes the American ambassador to Libya).

“When [Obama] came over to our little area” at Andrew Air Force Base, says Woods, “he kind of just mumbled, you know, ‘I’m sorry.’ His face was looking at me, but his eyes were looking over my shoulder like he could not look me in the eye. And it was not a sincere, ‘I’m really sorry, you know, that your son died,’ but it was totally insincere, more of whining type, ‘I’m sorry.’”

Woods says that shaking President Obama’s hands at his son’s memorial service was “like shaking hands with a dead fish.”

“Well, this is what Hillary did,” Woods continues. “She came over and, you know, did the same thing—separately came over and talked with me. I gave her a hug, shook her hand. And she did not appear to be one bit sincere—at all. And you know, she mentioned that the thing about, we’re going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video. That was the first time I had even heard about anything like that.”

Hear Mr. Woods’ interview:

I think it’s unequivocal, Romney won. And he didn’t just win tactically, but strategically. Strategically, all he needed to do is basically draw. He needed to continue the momentum he’s had since the first debate, and this will continue it. Tactically, he simply had to get up there and show that he’s a competent man, somebody who you could trust as commander in chief,…..

What he did concentrate on is the big picture. People don’t care what our policy on Syria is going to be. They care about how America is perceived in the world and how America carries itself in the world. And the high point is when he devastatingly leveled the charge of Obama going around the world on an apology tour.  Obama’s answer was ask any reporter and they will tell you it wasn’t so. That’s about as weak an answer you can get. And Romney’s response to quote Obama saying that, ‘we dictate to other nations,’ and Romney said, ‘we do not dictate to other nations, we liberate them.’ And Obama was utterly speechless

Barack Makes A Funny – Four Americans Remain Quite Dead

People Say The Silliest Things At Altitude And Distance

By: Repair_Man_Jack (Diary)  |          October 19th, 2012 at 02:30 PM                  |  9

A lot of people are angry about a lot of things concerning Barack Obama’s ongoing SCOAMF*-Fiesta in the nation of Libya.  I addressed what it reinforced to me about his administration in a recent diary.  Barack Obama exists at altitude and distance from the results of any decisions that he makes.  He takes responsibility for his leadership decisions as President about as much as I take responsibility for playing the wrong guy on my fantasy football team.

He demonstrated his utter lack of concern about what happened by sending out Susan Rice and Stephanie Cutter to tell 1,001 Arabian Lies about what transpired on that fatal anniversary of 9/11 in Benghazi, Libya.  When lying and blame shifting didn’t work, he ignored the first rule of holes** and continued his descent.  He wants us to believe the whole thing is just a bump in the road – so inconsequential that he can poke a little fun at himself over at Comedy Central.

Here’s how President Obama tries to just laugh the whole deal off and get back to the really gut-level critical stuff like Big Bird.  He responds to Jon Stewart below.

Stewart asked: ‘Is part of the investigation helping the communication between these divisions? ‘Not just what happened in Benghazi, but what happened within.  Because I would say, even you would admit, it was not the optimal response, at least to the American people, as far as all of us being on the same page.’ Obama responded: ‘Here’s what I’ll say. If four Americans get killed, it’s not optimal.’

It’s a bummer.  He’s sorry.  Like the last time he got ticketed for double-parking or pulling a California Stop at some intersection.  Pat Smith, the mother of killed US Diplomat Sean Smith, was predictably and rightfully livid.  She offered up the following commentary.

‘My son is not very optimal – he is also very dead.’  She continued.  ‘It was a disrespectful thing to say and I don’t think it’s right. ‘How can you say somebody being killed is not very optimal? I don’t think the President has the right idea of the English language.’

Ma’am, he certainly does.

Despite the ongoing questioning of “who knew what and when” and ” who sent Ambassador Rice out to call the Banghazi attacks the result spontaneous riots because of the Youtube video”, in last night’s debate, president Obama cited his Rose Garden speech to say he called the attacks “terrorism” from the start.

But are the spinmasters making parsing words. In the early part of his text in the Rose Garden on September 12th, the President mentions our freedom of religion and speech, but that we do not approve of those who denigrate other religions, which was a clear reference to the YouTube video that the administration has used as their cover tool for the uprisings in the Mideast. Toward the end of his address, he then states that “no act of terror” will lessen the resolve of this great Nation.

So did Obama call the Benghazi attacks an act of terrorism? If he did, WHY did he then go on The View and Letterman, as well as address the UN, all with remarks that blamed the video, and did not use the term terrorism? Why did Ambassador Rice go on FIVE Sunday talk shows and discuss the “spontaneous riots” over a “video”, instead of saying an “act of terrorism”? To say the comments were based on the intelligence reports at hand is unconscionable, given the fact that the State Department has testified that from Day One, they knew that the consulate had been attacked.

There are so many unanswered questions, and the President will “get to the bottom of it”…… after the Election.

Ex-Embassy Security Officer In Libya: “The Taliban Is On The Inside Of The Building” At The State Department…

Possibly more than he knows!!

It appears that the Marine details are only at our Embassies in foreign countries, but not at the consulates that are scattered about in each country. That being said, and given the very nature of the inherent dangers in the Mideast, one has to wonder why our Ambassadors in the region do not have assigned security, whether throigh the Marines or the Secret Service, as they travel about throughout the region. The host nation is expected to provide a level of security, but given the trustworthiness of these ever-changing regimes, one must question their resolve as well.

From Politico:

The consulate where the American ambassador to Libya was killed on Tuesday is  an “interim facility” not protected by the contingent of Marines that safeguards  embassies, POLITICO has learned.

Ambassador Chris Stevens was killed with three other Americans in an attack  on the U.S. consulate in the city of Benghazi, where Libyan rebels ousted  strongman Moammar Qadhafi last year.

So if, on our dime, we provide Secret Service protection to Valerie Jarrett (Obama’s boss) and David Plouffe, should we not be focused on the security of our Ambassadors above the security of these two political hacks?
