A letter signed by 42 members of Congress criticizes President Barack Obama for telling students in Indonesia last month that America’s national motto is “E Pluribus Unum.”

Obama commented to the students last month that the U.S. and Indonesia share a similar history. “It is a story written into our national mottos. In the United States, our motto is E Pluribus Unum‘ — out of many, one.”
In a letter to the White House, members of the Congressional Prayer Caucus — mostly Republican — note that the national motto has been “In God We Trust” since 1956.
The caucus chairman, Congressman Randy Forbes (R-Virginia), says “In God We Trust” is too important to be forgotten. He says he and his fellow congressmen want to “make sure that we stand by that proposition and don’t retreat from it.”

There isn’t one single, credible source that has any concrete facts whatsoever, that Obama was born in Hawaii.

Here’s a surprise! Hawaii’s Department of Education has been unable to find AKA Obama’s Kindergarten records. By this time maybe you are no longer surprised.

Obama’s Noelani Elementary School Kindergarten records, oddly missing from the State of Hawaii Department of Education, is the first in a series of chronological “coincidences” that obscure AKA Obama’s history.

Although Obama has had a first-class education that spanned 25 years, there is only a single document that has ever been released, the application for entrance to the Franciscus Assisi Primary School (next item) — and that document was discovered by independent investigators.

This is an important feature because Kindergarten records for original school entry would have contained the following:

1. Obama’s REAL Birth Certificate.

2. An application with the following:

• His Legal name.
• Parents or Legal Guardians’ names.
• Date of Birth
• Place of Birth
• Vaccination Records (revealing a timeline to the place and DOB.)

It also is important for two additional reasons:

A. The Department of Education does not “lose” the records of one particular student. (So, who paid whom what sum to make this record disappear?)

The Time Barack Obama Almost Tickled a Guy to Death

The Time Barack Obama Almost Tickled a Guy to DeathWhat do Barack Obama and Rep. Eric “Salty” Massa have in common? They have both tickled people… to disastrous results. During an interview on Indonesian television, we learned of the time Obama’s tickling caused a friend to break his arm.

for article and video link:

The Associated Press is reporting that Barack Obama is so concerned about the failure of ObamaCare legislation that he will delay his March 18th trip to Indonesia and Australia to continue the strong arming of Democrats in the House of Representatives to pass the government takeover of our health care.

The ideology of universal healthcare, and that healthcare is a right, has been a mainstay of the progressive movement since Teddy Roosevelt. Is the RUSH and backroom dealing all that necessary…… I say we do REFORM, but we DO IT CORRECTLY!!

JAKARTA, IndonesiaScores of Islamic students staged protests outside Jakarta’s parliament and in at least three other major Indonesian cities on Friday against President Barack Obama’s upcoming visit to this predominantly Muslim country.

The students carried banners branding Obama as an enemy of Islam and an imperialist in downtown Jakarta as well as in the provincial capitals Padang, Yogyakarta and Surabaya.

They also threw shoes at large pictures of Obama’s head. An Iraqi journalist was sentenced to a year in prison for throwing his shoes at U.S. President George W. Bush during a news conference in Baghdad in 2008.

Such demonstrations of hostility toward Obama are rare in Indonesia, where he enjoys widespread popularity because he spend part of his childhood in Jakarta while his mother was married to his Indonesian stepfather.

from Bloomberg:

March 4 (Bloomberg) — President Barack Obama’s push to get health-care legislation passed in the next few weeks might collide with his planned visit to Indonesia and Australia, creating a schedule conflict that concerns some Democrats, including White House aides.

Obama’s top aides have discussed whether to postpone the overseas travel in case the timing for a vote on the president’s signature legislative priority slips, according to a person familiar with the discussions. For now, the trip is on.

The president is tentatively set to leave Washington March 18 and be overseas for a week. Congress is scheduled to begin a two-week Easter holiday recess March 29.

White House staff have discussed the schedule with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a California Democrat, and Senate Majority Harry Reid, a Nevada Democrat, and “we are on schedule to finish health-insurance reform in the House on time, so there’s been no change in our trip plans,” Obama’s spokesman, Robert Gibbs, said.

Statue of “Barry” Soetoro/Obama in Jakarta’s Menteng Park

The AFP reported:

Indonesian authorities said Monday they are considering a petition to tear down a statue of US President Barack Obama as a boy, only a month after the bronze was unveiled in Jakarta.

The statue of “Little Barry” — as Obama was known when he lived in the capital in the late 1960s — stands in central Jakarta’s Menteng Park, a short walk from the US president’s former elementary school.

Critics say the site should have been used to honour an Indonesian and 55,000 people have joined a page on social networking website Facebook calling for the statue to be removed.

“We’ve been discussing for the past two weeks what to do with the statue… whether to take it down, move it elsewhere or retain it. We’re finding the best solution,” Jakarta parks agency official Dwi Bintarto said.

Obama, who was born in Hawaii, lived for four years as a child in Jakarta from 1967 after his divorced mother married an Indonesian.

Members of the “Take Down the Barack Obama Statue in Menteng Park” group on Facebook say Obama has done nothing for Indonesia.

Obama: A Profile in Cowardice

Meet Barack Hussein Obama.

The man who turned his own middle name into a no-go zone during the election, only to bring it out of the closet when he trotted down to a Muslim country. The man whose associates labeled talk about his Muslim background as racist, only to proclaim his Muslim background loudly and proudly from the podium of a Muslim country.

There’s a word for a man like that. Coward.

Meet Obama, the bright young Senator with a phony biography…

Meet Barack Obama, the man who was going to bring an end to the American coercion of other countries…

Of course Obama has drawn the line somewhere. He has drawn the line against standing up to Ahmadinejad, Chavez or any Socialist or Muslim tyrant. Instead Obama has browbeaten America’s democratic allies, in support of Muslim and Socialist tyrannies…

So, in short, the message, beyond how interesting his own experiences were, is somewhat innocuous – work hard and do well in school.  The sub-text, though, is a bit different.  The President has no real business making this speech and injecting himself into my kids’ lives.  If he’s going to talk about educational responsibilities, he might at least mention the teachers unions that have done so much to stifle reform and protect the incompetent (Yeah, I know the K-5 kids won’t get it but the high school kids know the score).  The part about “critical thinking” is just nonsense – the last thing the educrats want is thinking, much less thinking that critically assesses their weary leftist dogma.

Rhetorically, the speech is clearly designed to introduce the friendly face of the President’s ideology to a future generation of voters.  It strives for a false familiarity through vivid verbal images and casual manners of speech.  But even without the positively creepy discussion guide’s recommendation that kids write letters to the President pledging their help to fulfill his vision, the whole thing is just inappropriate.  Thanks for the help with my kids, Mr. President, but no thanks – I think I’ve got it covered.

But at least we can all agree on the speech’s last phrase – “God bless America.”
