Dodd Allegedly Received Sweetheart Real Estate Deal in Exchange for Securing Clinton Presidential Pardon for Associate; Filed False Financial Disclosure Forms
Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it filed a complaint on April 24, 2009, with the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Ethics against Connecticut Democratic Senator Christopher Dodd. The complaint alleges Dodd assisted a longtime friend and associate to obtain a reduced sentence and ultimately a full presidential pardon from President Clinton for tax and securities crimes, in exchange for gifts, including a sweetheart mortgage deal that he failed to properly disclose on his Senate Financial Disclosure forms. According to Judicial Watch’s complaint:
This complaint concerns recent media reports alleging Senator Christopher Dodd used his position and influence as a United States Senator to intervene on behalf of his longtime friend and business associate, Edward Downe, Jr. Senator Dodd is then alleged to have benefited financially as a result of his intervention, and failed to disclose the financial benefits by filing inaccurate Senate Financial Disclosure Statements from 2002 through at least 2007.

John Jay was one of the intellectuals who helped guide our Great Nation through its fight for independence to establish our great Republic. As the Constituional Convention met and framed what would become our Constitution, John Jay and George Washington, knowing that the first group of leaders had originally been subjects of the British crown, did not believe that the Commander-in-Chief should have alliegiance or ties to any other nation. Thye knew that the leaders in the early years would be the initial US citizens, who were originally British subjects, and they framed the Constitution with that in mind.
John Jay spelled out the foundation for the requirement that the Presient and Vice President be “Natural born” citizens of the United States:
John Jay wrote: “Permit me to hint, whether it would be wise and seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government; and to declare expressly that the Commander in Chief of the American army shall not be given to nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen.” (The underlining is as it appears in his writings).
Let us be clear, that the type of family loyalty that a US Senator from Illinois, on taxpayer dollars, used to help his cousin campaign in his native land of Kenya, is the exact dual loyalty that our forefathers were acting to prevent!

Despite Chris Matthews’ letting the world know that he himself has the sole responsibility of making Barack Obama a successful President, and regardless of biased Campbell Brown’s “No Bias No Bull” show on CNN, the mainstream media has already began questioning its integrity and its role in the election of Barack Hussein Obama. It’s only taken 5 days!
In today’s Washington Post, columnist Deborah Howell analyzes the Post’s coverage of the Presidential campaign since Novemebr 2007, and, not surprisingly, the Post’s coverage was far more favorable to Barack Obama than to John McCain, and revealed an obvious bias in the news stories. It was found that the articles that were printed consisted more of campaign jabs than policy comparisons of the candidates, as though the policy issues were not important in the Presidential race.
“But Obama deserved tougher scrutiny than he got, especially of his undergraduate years, his start in Chicago and his relationship with Antoin “Tony” Rezko, who was convicted this year of influence-peddling in Chicago. The Post did nothing on Obama’s acknowledged drug use as a teenager.”
“One gaping hole in coverage involved Joe Biden, Obama’s running mate. When Gov. Sarah Palin was nominated for vice president, reporters were booking the next flight to Alaska. Some readers thought The Post went over Palin with a fine-tooth comb and neglected Biden. They are right; it was a serious omission”
More news outlets will fall in line behind The Washington Post, except for, perhaps, the New York Times, and perhaps the true spectre of journalism might have a chance to be rekindled. In all fairness to our President-elect (Yes, Sean Penn and Bill Maher, even those of us who do not support Obama’s positions or ideology respect the fact that he is “our President for 1458 more days”, something you never did with our President Bush), the media must step back from the “Obama Kool Aid”, and drink from the ethics of unbiased news reporting if Obama is to be able to have a functional Presidency.

In talking with Joe Scarbrough, MSNBC’s Hardball host, Chris Matthews, said that it is now HIS job as a journalist to MAKE sure this PRESIDENCY is SUCCESSFUL!!
Edward R. Murrow, the journalistic ethicist, would be appalled that a journalist felt that thier role exceeded the boundaries of REPORTING the news.
Mr. Matthews, Barack H. Obama is a wonderful orator, and yes, his orations can be inspiring. But they are not inspiring enough to make 48% of the public want to accept his socialistic platform, and if even a small percentage of the 52% who were moved to vote for Obama had any clue about what his platform will actually do to our Democracy, John McCain would be planning his transition today.
Mr. Matthews, despite the tingles that Obama sends down your leg (a sensation that other males have reported on the internet as well) it is NOT your job to make Obama successful. Your job is to make sure that the public is informed in an unbiased manner to make sound informed decisions about our elected officials. Thus, Mr. Matthews, OUR JOB is to make sure you are UNSUCCESSFUL at your self annointed job.

As noted at www.AmericasRight.com, the election of Obama can actually become a good thing, if the Republicans respond accordingly. Jeff Schrieber wrote that Harry Truman brought us Dwight Eisenhower and Jimmy Carter brought us Ronald Reagan.
The challenges to Barack Obama’s eligibility did not end last night when he was elected President. Supreme Court Justice Souter did not issue an injunction to stop the election as Philip Berg had requested in his filing of Berg v. Obama, which was probably not expected to happen. However, at the same time, the request for a writ of certiorari was not denied or dismissed. In fact, the Obama team has until December 1, 2008 to respond to Mr. Berg’s motion, at which time Mr. Berg will have the opportunity to respond.
All of this would seem to be a nuisance to the man who was just elected to be President of the United States, and as a nuisance, it could easily be put to rest…. unless there is actually something at issue within the typewritten document housed at the Hawaii Bureau of Vital Statistics. I still lay odds on Canada!
This is the announcement from Philip Berg’s website www.obamacrimes.com and the Supreme Court docket:
Justice Souter’s Clerk has informed Mr. Berg that Mr. Berg’s application for an injunction to stay the November 4th election has been denied. (The U. S. Supreme Court Docket is below.)
The defendants are required to respond to the Writ of Certiorari by December first, after which Mr. Berg will have an opportunity to respond.
|Docketed:||October 31, 2008|
|Lower Ct:||United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit|
|~~~Date~~~||~~~~~~~Proceedings and Orders~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|
|Oct 30 2008||Petition for a writ of certiorari before judgment filed. (Response due December 1, 2008)|
|Oct 31 2008||Application (08A391) for an injunction pending disposition of the petition for a writ of certiorari, submitted to Justice Souter.|
|Nov 3 2008||Supplemental brief of applicant Philip J. Berg filed.|
|Nov 3 2008||Application (08A391) denied by Justice Souter.|
Seventy six days to Inauguration Day, 2009.

Less than twelve hours ago, the United States elected our 44th President, and on January 20th, 2009, Barack H. Obama II will be sworn in (unless the challenges to his eligibility are successful). Thus we come to the end of what has been a never-ending campaign season.
Today, we are 1462 days until the November 6th, 2012 election, and if we think the last season was long, it was announced today that Louisiana’s Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) will be making several speaking engagements in IOWA during the next few weeks. This was the same methodology that Sen. Clinton used to “campaign” before officially campaigning.
Gov. Sarah Palin will resume her duties in Alaska, but we can be assured that she will be a visible Republican force in the Lower 48 while she decides if she wants to run for President in 2012. Other possible Republican contenders will likely include Gov. Mitt Romney, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Gov. Tim Pawlenty, among others.
By the time the honeymoon period ends for President-elect Obama and the fawning media, the media that elected Obama will begin to see which Republican will make their “media darling” list.
Countdown has begun!
The ballots are still being counted, and undoubtedly, there are some challenges for Election Day 2008 are brewing, and yet, the countdown to November 6th, 2012 has already begun.
For the Republican Party, for the conservatives and moderates, a moral imperative has been handed to them with the election of President Barack H. Obama. The Grand Ole Party must now take a brief time to clearly state what their conservative foundation is, and to begin in earnest to put forth the best slate of candidates for the House of Representatives, the United States Senate, and the White House.
Leading the slate of Republican Presidential candidate contenders, Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska will be a front runner, reagrdless of how she has been portrayed in the media. The party itself is aware of this, as has been witnessed in Gov. Mitt Romney’s answers to a possible run in 2012 for him. The field will also include Gov. Mike Huckabee, and probably Gov. Rick Perry of Texas.
Governing on a socialistic agenda, a plan to diminish our defense power, an energy strategy that he has said will cost the Americans immensely, a President Obama cannot be allowed to govern for more than one term. The Republicans MUST establish their push to not permit their values to be diminished whatsoever by this Democratic trifecta in RePO.
I for one will begin my support immediately toward a Republican White House on Nov. 6th, 2012.

Americans went to the polls today to elect the 44th President of the United States, and with the election of Sen. Barack H. Obama to the office, Lady Liberty Democracy has passed away.
The United States, in electing Obama as President, has elected a biracial man for the highest office in the land, choosing the inexperienced orator over the proven record of his opponent, Sen. John McCain. After touting the race card that McCain refused to use, the Obama machine put forth a great effort of intimidation, online and at the polls.
In the election of Obama, the principles of our forefathers regarding our liberties and our Democracy will be tested to their core, given his socialistic view of economics, his desire to diminish the defense throughout the world, we have exchanged our intense American spirit for one that satisfies the reparations of racial injustice.

As the American electorate heads to the polls across our great nation, it is reported that Lady Liberty Democracy is gravely ill. From malfunctioning poll machines, to Black Panthers blocking the doors of Pennsylvania polling sites carrying night sticks, issues are cropping into the election process. These are just the tip of the iceberg for Lady Liberty Democracy.
Abuses of power and excessive greed have had a crippling effect on her health and welfare. Our elected leaders have taken great mortgages in exchange for turning a blind eye to the fraud and abuse in the mortgage industry, as well as on Wall Street. Our Commander in Chief has kept this nation safe from another terrorist attack for seven years, and despite strategy miscalculations in the Iraqi war, the Commander had to fight the Democrats to get us to the great place we are today in the Iraqi theater.
Lady Liberty Democracy has already suffered the tragic loss of one of her offspring during this electoral process. We have witnessed firshand the demise of the concept of journalistic ethics, having reporters make the news instead of reporting the news. As declared and announced by Sean Hannity of FOXNews, journalism died in 2008.
The prognosis for Lady Liberty Democracy is wholly and completely dependent upon the votes cast today. For her survival, this nation must infuse her with a rousing return to the morals and values that were the foundation of this nation’s early history. The conservative values, the nation’s faith, and our belief in the rights and freedoms our country stands for are fundamental to her recovery. Therefore, it is a moral imperative that we vote our conscience, for the future of our nation, and we must make sure that the message is clear that we are a nation dedicated to the true principles of a federal fovernment and sovereign state gove
