(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released records detailing the government funds expended on First Daughter Malia Obama’s March 2012 Spring Break vacation to Mexico. According to the records, obtained from the U.S. Secret Service as a result of a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed on September 20, 2012, the total cost of the trip amounted to $115,500.87.

The following is a breakdown of the costs as detailed in the documents:

Ground transportation: $23,964.81

Lodging: $21,682.92

Airfare: $47,767.34

“Vouchers”: $21,636.14 (not itemized)

Support Charges: $449.66 (travel for one from Mexico City to Oaxaca, not itemized)

Malia Obama’s spring break trip evoked controversy after the Obama White House reportedly ordered the removal of press reports detailing the trip. On March 19,2012, numerous online press outlets reported that the president’s 13-year-old daughter, Malia Obama, was on a Spring Break trip to Mexico accompanied by 25 U.S. Secret Service Agents and as many as 12 of her friends. However, shortly after the press reports surfaced they were quickly removed from the Internet. The trip took place shortly after the Texas Department of Public Safety issued a statement advising students on Spring Break “to avoid Mexico.”

Obama Secret Servie Detail Sent Home Amid Allegations of Drinking and Prostitutes

CARTAGENA, Colombia—The Secret Service is investigating allegations that agents on President Barack Obama’s security detail to Colombia were involved with prostitution, a person familiar with the matter said.

The agents involved have been sent home and are being replaced by other Secret Service personnel, the Secret Service said in a statement. It said the alleged misconduct occurred before the president arrived Friday.

The incident occurred at a local hotel Wednesday evening, people in Cartagena with knowledge of the events said.

Mr. Obama is attending the weekend Summit of the Americas, a gathering of dozens of regional leaders. The Secret Service said the president’s security was never compromised.

Secret Service Interrogates 7th Grader without Parental Consent; Overreaction to Child’s Facebook Warning

Tacoma seventh grader faced federal interrogation at school for what he posted on his Facebook page. His mom said it all happened without her knowledge or permission.

Timi Robertson said she had just finished lunch with a friend Friday when she got a phone call from her son’s school.

 ”I answered it, and it’s the school security guard who’s giving me a heads up that the Secret Service is here with the Tacoma Police Department and they have Vito and they’re talking to him,” Robertson said.

After Osama bin Laden was killed, 13-year-old Vito LaPinta posted an update to his Facebook status that got the Feds attention.

“I was saying how Osama was dead and for Obama to be careful because there could be suicide bombers,” says LaPinta.

A week later, while Vito was in his fourth period class, he was called in to the principal’s office.

“A man walked in with a suit and glasses and he said he was part of the Secret Service,” LaPinta said. “He told me it was because of a post I made that indicated I was a threat toward the President.”

The Tacoma school district acknowledged a Secret Service agent questioned Vito and that it was a security guard who called Vito’s mom because the principal was on another call. The school district said they didn’t wait for Vito’s mother to get there because they thought she didn’t take the phone call seriously.

“That’s a blatant lie,” Robertson said.

The teen’s mom says she rushed to Truman Middle School immediately and arrived to discover her son had already been questioned for half an hour.

“I just about lost it,” she said. “My 13 year-old son is supposed to be safe and secure in his classroom and he’s being interrogated without my knowledge or consent privately.

Fighter Who Said He’d Like to Challenge Obama in Ring Is Placed on Administrative Leave After Secret Service Visits

Jacob Volkmann, the UFC lightweight fighter who said that President Obama was “not too bright” following his win at UFC 125, has been placed on paid administrative leave by White Bear Lake High School in Minnesota while the school conducts an investigation regarding the comments he made to MMAFighting.com about the President.

Volkmann has served as an assistant wrestling coach for the school for three years.

“They gotta do the investigation and then give me an OK to coach,” Volkmann said.

The 30-year-old said he was not given a time frame by the school as to when he will be able to return to his job. The school has allowed him to continue serving as youth wrestling coach for a club team. He also owns and operates his own chiropractic practice in Minnesota.

Biden’s Limo in Fatal Accident, but No Media Coverage

Vice President Biden’s motorcade was involved in an fatal crash early Wednesday that left one man dead.

Biden was not in the armored SUV or limousine that killed the pedestrian on a D.C.-area parkway. Two Secret Service employees were driving the vehicles, which had just been flown back to area from Fort Lewis, Wash., after taking the vice president to a Veterans Day event there.

The crash happened at 2:27 a.m. on Wednesday in Temple Hills, Md., according to the U.S. Park Police.

Secret Service spokesman Malcolm Wiley confirmed to Fox News that the employees driving the vehicles remained on the scene and administered first aid to the man who was hit.

The victim name wasn’t immediately released.

The Park Police is investigating the accident but details are still unclear.

A man in a red Volkswagon Beetle created quite a stir in Westwood, California. LAPD/SWAT, FBI and the Secret Service surrounded Joseph Moshe’s vehicle for allegedly threatening to blow up the White House, over 1,000 people in the vicinity of the scene were evacuated, all because of one man in a tiny red Volkswagon. In the eight-hour standoff a Military Armored Personnel vehicle blocked his exit, the man was pummeled with streams of pepper spray (see photo) and the driver was eventually tasered and yanked out of the vehicle.

 

Joseph Moshe is a 56 year-old bio-scientist working for a unit within Mossad, he has dual citizenship in Israel but lives in Westchester, Los Angeles. What’s so astonishing about this story is that the FBI had been surveilling Moshe’s home in California, the FBI was targeting him not because he made threats to ‘blow up the White House’ but because he informed the White House that he intended to go public with information he had regarding Baxter’s swine flu vaccine that’s being manufactured in the Ukraine and that the vaccine is an engineered genetically mutated bio-weapon meant to cause mass sickness and death of those inoculated.

When he became aware that the FBI was about to detain him, he packed some belongings in his car and set out for the Israeli consulate, located in close proximity to the federal building where the standoff took place. FBI pursuit kept him from reaching his destination. Moshe was not handcuffed because he was not placed under arrest, he was extradited to Israel and hasen’t been heard from since.

The Obama administration is fighting to block access to names of visitors to the White House, taking up the Bush administration argument that a president doesn’t have to reveal who comes calling to influence policy decisions.

Despite President Barack Obama’s pledge to introduce a new era of transparency to Washington, and despite two rulings by a federal judge that the records are public, the Secret Service has denied msnbc.com’s request for the names of all White House visitors from Jan. 20 to the present. It also denied a narrower request by the nonpartisan watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, which sought logs of visits by executives of coal companies.

Blueprints for the President’s helicopter along with its engineering and communications information were discovered on an Iranian internet address in a potentially alarming security breach, it was reported last night.

“We found a file containing entire blueprints and avionics package for Marine One, which is the President’s helicopter,” said Bob Boback, CEO of Tiversa, a Pittsburgh-based software company that discovered the security breach, according to WPXI-NBC.

Company officials believe the secret information about the ultra high-tech Marine One was exchanged through a peer-to-peer file-sharing program that was downloaded by a defense contractor in Bethesda, Md.

The program reportedly allowed a hacker in Tehran to access the plans.

“When you are downloading one of these file-sharing programs, you are effectively allowing others around the world to access your hard drive,” Boback told the television station.

The government was immediately notified of the violation, but Boback cautioned that Iranians weren’t the only ones downloading the sensitive material.

“We’ve noticed it out of Pakistan, Yemen, Qatar and China. They are actively searching for information that is disclosed in this fashion because it is a great source of intelligence.”
