     After being derisive about FOX NEWs and the Tea Party participants (swinging around tea bags, the Obama said), Pres. Obama made sure that he did not call on FOXNews’ Major Garrett at the 3rd Boring Press Conference of the Obama administration. Not only was he not called on for a question, Major Garrett was TOLD that he would not get a chance to ask the President a question and WHY!

     Pres. Barack Obama will have his 2nd Press Conference tonight, and it is hoped by those in the media that he will not take thirteen minutes to answer one question! But the real story here is the ending of the MSM-Obama Honeymoon!

But those moves are only part of a much larger strategy aimed at communicating directly with audiences the White House believes are more sympathetic to the president’s agenda — and one in which much of the work is being done by Obama’s top advisers

Obama himself plans to meet soon with liberal bloggers, according to an administration official. With little fanfare, he’s already sat for interviews with Black Enterprise magazine, Telemundo and Los Angeles-based Hispanic radio host Eddie “Piolin” Sotelo.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs and CNBC’s Rick Santelli Continue Sparring

Obama accepts Hannity Offer to Meet for a Beer

      On the campaign trail, and again at his “Town Hall” meeting in Elkhart IN trying to sell the stimulus package, Barack Obama made comments about Sean Hannity’s views about Obama and the fact that he doubted Hannity would be likely to sit down and “have a beer” with Obama. Speaking on Greta Van Susteren’s “On The Record”, Hannity said “I’ll even by the beer”.

     So on “FOX and Friends”, this morning, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said that the President would gladly “have a beer” with Hannity.

    The problem I see is that Hannity would not be able to have the same passion in his questioning of the Obama administration, changing much the way the Bill O’Reilly did after he was finally granted an interview with the Obama!

WH Press Secretary Jokes with Press about Birth Certificate

     When discussions arose on Wednesday regarding the need to act with an “abundance of caution” where the flubbed Presidential Oath of Office was concerned, the White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs made an off-the-cuff remark about Obama’s birth certificate.

     After comments about possible lawsuits regarding the Oath and Obama’s status as President, Gibbs commented that it’s “like the birth certifcate. We have it, the birth certificate, if you’d like to seeit!”. An obvious attempt to make light of the fact that Obama’s eligibility or lack thereof is gaining momentum, Gibbs commenst reflect the fact that the Obama administration is in fact spending a great deal of time, manpower and money to kepp ALL of his records under lock and key.

    I think it is time that the Press Secretary get the answers to ALL the questions pertaining to Obama’s citizenship and eligibility, and, if Gibbs, as a federal employee, discussed the birth certificate with members of the press, can these items be requested under the Freedom of Information Act?
