UN Warns Americans: Do Not Elect Romney; Now There is A Source I Would Turn To? NOT!

The United Nations Special Rapporteur on Counter-Terrorism and Human Rights has warned Americans not to elect Republican Mitt Romney in next month’s presidential election, saying that doing so would be “a democratic mandate for torture.”

The UN’s Ben Emmerson was referring to Romney’s refusal to rule out the use of waterboarding in interrogating terror detainees, a practice that President Barack Obama has ended.

Colin Perkel of The Canadian Press reported Emmerson’s remarks from a symposium in Toronto on the impact of 9/11 on human rights:

“The re-introduction of torture under a Romney administration would significantly increase the threat levels to (Americans) at home and abroad,” Emmerson said.

“Such a policy, if adopted, would expose the American people to risks the Obama administration is not currently exposing them to.”

U.S. intelligence services were able to pinpoint Osama bin Laden’s location and carry out the successful mission to kill him in May 2011 based on information yielded during waterboarding of 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and information from Al Qaeda operative Hassan Ghul, who was captured in Iraq in 2004.

Obama opposed both waterboarding and the Iraq War, without which bin Laden would not have been found.

If Video Sparked Muslim Unrest, Will Obama Stop SONY Release of bin Laden Movie…. I Think Not

Let’s be VERY CLEAR…. the Obama White House has grossly politicized the killing of Osama bin Laden, from every speaker @ the DNC Convention mentioning ot, to Joe Biden making it a bumper sticker. And these were the SAME people who blasted George W. Bush for having a picture or footage of the 9/11 attacks in a campaign ad. Now this same White House is “claiming:” that an anti-Muslim movie trailer on YouTube is wholly responsible for the protesting and violence in 22 areas around the world, and contributed to the death of Amb. Chris Stevens and 3 others.

So one has to ask if the “football-spiking” officials at the White House will now ask SONY to forego releasing THEIR film about bin Laden’s demise.

Now that the White House and State Department have made clear that they believe movies compel terrorists to terrorize, it’s time for them to get ahead of this problem. And one thing the White House can do immediately is to pressure Sony to stop the release of director Kathryn Bigelow’s “Zero Dark Thirty,” which celebrates the killing of Osama bin Laden.

I’m only saying this because, you know, the White House and the media told me movies inflame and cause terrorism.

Think about it: if the poorly produced and laughably bad trailer for “The Innocence of Muslims” results in chaos, murder, and the burning of foreign outposts all throughout the Middle East, how much rioting and mayhem is a big-budgeted, slickly produced, Oscar-bait blockbuster celebrating the death of the leader of al-Qaeda going to cause?

Moreover, an excuse Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will not be able to use in the case of “Zero Dark Thirty” (as she did with “Innocence of Muslims”) is the cowardly and self-righteous claim that the federal government and the Obama White House had nothing to do with “Zero Dark Thirty.”

Because the federal government and the Obama White House had everything to do with “Zero Dark Thirty.”

As we now know, in an effort to get this glitzy in-kind contribution (tens of millions of dollars) up on the screen in time to affect the election, it was the Obama Administration that gave the filmmakers tons of encouragement and a troubling amount of access to all kinds of classified material.

But this very same Obama Administration has since learned that it wasn’t the Obama Doctrine of disengaging with the Middle East and embracing the Muslim Brotherhood that caused all this mayhem and murder last week. It was a movie.

      It is getting mighty crowded under that bus that President Obama has been driving!!

      In a speech described as his “Mideast Policy in a post-bin Laden World”, Obama called for Israel to make the necessary land swaps with Palestine so that the Palestinians would have their own borders, and can be recognized as a country by that wonderful international body– the United Nations.

       On the eve of the visit from Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Obama White House has lauded in the Arab Spring, and one can only wonder how this will change the Mideast forever.

Secret Service Interrogates 7th Grader without Parental Consent; Overreaction to Child’s Facebook Warning

Tacoma seventh grader faced federal interrogation at school for what he posted on his Facebook page. His mom said it all happened without her knowledge or permission.

Timi Robertson said she had just finished lunch with a friend Friday when she got a phone call from her son’s school.

 ”I answered it, and it’s the school security guard who’s giving me a heads up that the Secret Service is here with the Tacoma Police Department and they have Vito and they’re talking to him,” Robertson said.

After Osama bin Laden was killed, 13-year-old Vito LaPinta posted an update to his Facebook status that got the Feds attention.

“I was saying how Osama was dead and for Obama to be careful because there could be suicide bombers,” says LaPinta.

A week later, while Vito was in his fourth period class, he was called in to the principal’s office.

“A man walked in with a suit and glasses and he said he was part of the Secret Service,” LaPinta said. “He told me it was because of a post I made that indicated I was a threat toward the President.”

The Tacoma school district acknowledged a Secret Service agent questioned Vito and that it was a security guard who called Vito’s mom because the principal was on another call. The school district said they didn’t wait for Vito’s mother to get there because they thought she didn’t take the phone call seriously.

“That’s a blatant lie,” Robertson said.

The teen’s mom says she rushed to Truman Middle School immediately and arrived to discover her son had already been questioned for half an hour.

“I just about lost it,” she said. “My 13 year-old son is supposed to be safe and secure in his classroom and he’s being interrogated without my knowledge or consent privately.

“Mama Sarah” Obama Target of al Quaeda Threats; Kenya Increases Security

NAIROBI (AFP) – Kenya has tightened security around the home of US President Barack Obama’s step-grandmother after the killing of Osama bin Laden, an official said Thursday.

“In the wake of security challenges including terror threats, I can confirm that we decided to enhance security at the home of Mama Sarah … ,” said regional administrator Francis Mutie, using the popular name for Obama’s step-grandmother who lives in western Kenya.

There have been no direct threats against the family but Kenya is on alert following warnings from Al-Qaeda followers after bin Laden was killed by US special forces in Pakistan on May 2.

“All visitors going to the home will have to be thoroughly vetted. They will undergo security screening before they are cleared to visit the home,” Mutie said.

“Everybody, including relatives, must comply to make the work of security personnel easier,” added the official. “On top of the security that was given, we will also provide more security in terms of escort for Mama Sarah.”

The elderly Sarah Obama’s homestead has been guarded since her step-grandson was elected president in 2008.

One of the Navy SEALS—- Possibly—– Semper Fido !!

Americans are fascinated by the anonymous U.S. Navy SEALs who daringly raided Osama bin Laden’s Abbottabad, Pakistan compound this week, but one canine commando is attracting especially fervent interest.

According to the New York Times and the British tabloid The Sun, a military dog (not pictured) was strapped onto one of the assault team members as he was lowered out of a Black Hawk helicopter and began the operation that killed the notorious terrorist on Monday. But who is this canine hero?

Sadly, we know very little, and the Pentagon hasn’t confirmed that a dog was even on the mission, much less release information about the canine’s name or breed.

“Little is known about what may be the nation’s most courageous dog,” the Times’ Gardner Harris writes. He speculates that the dog was most likely a German shepherd or a Belgian Malinois, since those are the breeds most often found in the military’s 2,700-strong military dog program. (A new breed, however, is becoming popular with the troops. Labrador retrievers have begun to “wander off-leash 100 yards or more in front of patrols to ensure the safety of the route.”)
