Miss California gets unlikely support after Perez Hilton’s attacks on her Values

      While one of the contestants in the Miss America pageant was asked about her childhood nickname as her “Question”, Perez Hilton put his agenda front and center, and asked Miss California her views on same-sex marriage. Carrie Prejean, 21, believes that her answer cost her the Miss America crown, as she came in as the runner-up. But Hilton’s aftermath has been even more troubling, with his videoblog calling her names, etc.

     Ms. Prejean stands by her answer, that for her, and her family, marriage is between a man and a woman. Her answer was said in a manner that should not have offended anyone, in that she clearly stated that this is her beliefs.

     Today, she has an unlikely ally coming to her defense: Sir Elton John !
