In another one of what appears to be a McCain Bold Strategic Move, Real Clear Politics is reporting that the McCain campaign is restructuring its resources in the Michigan area to other battleground states to concentrate more on states that can still be swayed to the Red column.
RCP is stating that all radio and television ads have been pulled, the McCain mailings have either been cancelled or scaled back, and only a minimal McCain staff will remain in the state that is purple, leaning Blue! The Associated Press has now stated the same thing.
While the liberal media will call this a win for Obama, it is clear that McCain knows that that it is important that he protect the Red states that are needed to win the Presidency. This, of course, does not rule Michigan out of the McCain column, because, after all, there are still 33 days left, and October can be full of surprises.
