Short and simple…. we know that Hillary Clinton and Leon Panetta are planning on leaving their posts as Obama begins his second term.
So how safe will you feel when Obama nominates Ambassador Susan Rice to be Secretary of State and Sen. John Kerry to take over at the Pentagon?
Just saying!!
RuhRoh: CIA Asked for Assistance During Attack–Denied– SEALS told to “STAND DOWN”–Obama Needs to Come Clean NOW!

Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later was denied by U.S. officials — who also told the CIA operators twice to “stand down” rather than help the ambassador’s team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.
Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their higher-ups at the annex to tell them what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to “stand down,” according to sources familiar with the exchange. Soon after, they were again told to “stand down.”
Woods and at least two others ignored those orders and made their way to the consulate which at that point was on fire. Shots were exchanged. The rescue team from the CIA annex evacuated those who remained at the consulate and Sean Smith, who had been killed in the initial attack. They could not find the ambassador and returned to the CIA annex at about midnight.
NYT Reports That Obama Has Engaged in Cyberwarfare against Iran

When Iran’s nuclear facilities were publicly crippled in 2011 by what then was considered a revolutionary computer virus which destroys physical equipment, many immediately assumed the virus originated in Israel for obvious reasons. They were wrong. In what can be described as the first presidentially-mandated and condoned act of cyberwarfare, one circumventing the War Powers Act of course, the NYT informs us that the order to physically impair Iranian sovereignty came from none other than the Nobel Peace prize winning president: Barack Obama.
From the NYT:
From his first months in office, President Obama secretly ordered increasingly sophisticated attacks on the computer systems that run Iran’s main nuclear enrichment facilities, significantly expanding America’s first sustained use of cyberweapons, according to participants in the program.
Mr. Obama decided to accelerate the attacks – begun in the Bush administration and code-named Olympic Games – even after an element of the program accidentally became public in the summer of 2010 because of a programming error that allowed it to escape Iran’s Natanz plant and sent it around the world on the Internet. Computer security experts who began studying the worm, which had been developed by the United States and Israel, gave it a name: Stuxnet.
At a tense meeting in the White House Situation Room within days of the worm’s “escape,” Mr. Obama, Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and the director of the Central Intelligence Agency at the time, Leon E. Panetta, considered whether America’s most ambitious attempt to slow the progress of Iran’s nuclear efforts had been fatally compromised.
“Should we shut this thing down?” Mr. Obama asked, according to members of the president’s national security team who were in the room.
Our Valiant Soldiers Ordered to Disarm Before a Group Meeting with Sec. of Defense

They are serving this country in an area where they are not welcomed. They are sacrificing a great deal, away from home, away from their loved ones. And our leaders decide that they want a group of soldiers to leave their firearms OUTSIDE of a meeting hall where the Secretary of Defense was to address them.
So there they are……. potential targets gathered in a group, with no means of defense. What was to stop any of the Afghani’s from forging a quick attack? There are still unanswered questions over the thwarted attack as Panetta arrived. And the country is still reeling from the Koran burnings and the weekend massacre at the hands of one of our soldiers.
Or was our Secretary of Defense fearful of his own troops?
So, what say you!!
Leon Panetta: To Lead the DoD, or Diminish It?

Anyone familiar with Panetta’s record as a Congressman in the 1980s knows that Panetta is both a leftist markedly hostile towards the US military establishment.
Panetta has no military backgound. he has a Budget background. He was once head of the Office of Budget Management.
What does this suggest to you?
Was Panetta specifically chosen to oversee large cuts in the US defense budget?
At a time when the US is facing Islamic terrorism, an increasingly belligerent China, a resurgent Russia, and an ongoing “red tide” in Latin America, has Leon Panetta been commissioned to take a scythe e to the US Defense budget?

CIA Dir. Leon Panetta enraged at AG Eric Holder; Resignation Looms

The move to prosecute CIA officers for their conduct during the war on terrorism is threatening to throw President Obama’s national security team into turmoil – beginning with the possible resignation of CIA Director Leon Panetta.
Panetta engaged in a “profanity-laced screaming match” at the White House, according to ABC News.com, over a plan by Attorney General Eric Holder to launch an investigation over the treatment of detainees captured in Afghanistan and other countries. At issue is how far officers should have gone in their interrogation of such terrorists as the mastermind of the USS Cole bombing.
The threat to investigate the nation’s frontline spies comes after Panetta took on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi over her comments that she had never been brief regarding harsh interrogation techniques being used against Al-Qaida members. Panetta sided with his team and the written record in insisting that she had been briefed.
“You can expect a larger than normal turnover in the next year,” a senior adviser to Obama on intelligence matters told ABCNews.com.

Cheney, CIA, Panetta, Pelosi: Real Errors or Political Cover for the Speaker?

CIA Director Appointee is Obama’s Next Quagmire; Panetta’s Earnings have Lobbysist ties

Even as the Obama administration is still reeling from a “bad day” yesterday that led to Tom Daschle withdrawing his name from consideration for the Secretary of Health and Human Services position, and Nancy Kellifer withdrawing from her position as the Chief Efficiency Director at the White House, bith having tax issues among other things, the New York Times is reporting that Leon Panetta is Obama’s newest headache.
In his disclosure forms, Leon Panetta, Obama’s questionable choice as CIA Director, has revealed that he had earned $700,000 in speaking engagements and consulting jobs in 2008, including funds from failed banks, Wachovia, and Merrill Lynch. Additionally, some of his consulting work was with companies who have contracts or provide services to our National Security agency and subagencies. This could be a major conflict of interests, especially in light of the Obama call for “high ethical standards”.
Before Obama goes any further in his agenda, it appears that he needs to reign the troops in, get the house in order, starting with asking Timothy Geithner to resign….. there should be no double standard….. Geithner is NOT indispensable!
Panetta for Secretary of Commerce

This is a brief post to ask a simple question, given the uproar over appointing Leon Panetta to be the CIA Director:
Given Panetta’s prior experience as Clinton’s White House Chief of Staff and more directly, as the head of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), would his expertise be put to better use as the Secretary of Commerce?

Obama brings more “Change” to Washington with CIA Appointment

President Elect Barack Obama continued highlighting what many are calling the Clinton Third Term by appointing Leon Panetta to be the Director of the CIA.
The 70 year old Panetta served as the White House Chief of Staff for President William Jefferson Clinton from 1994 to 1997, and he had been the head of Clinton’s Office of Management and Budget from 1993 to 1994. Prior to his Presidential appointment, Mr. Panetta had served a California Congressman from 1976 to 1990. Originally a Republican, Panetta switched to the Democrats when he felt that the Republicans were drifting too far from the “center”, and were not supportive of civil rights issues.
