The US House of Representatives has adjourned for the night, scheduled to reconvene at noon on Janury 1, 2013. The Senate Democrats are meeting with Vice President Joe Biden who is trying to get them on track, and all of this is after the President spoke at 1:30pm, with complete disdain and arrogance, and displaying a complete lack of leadership.

So it is now official that the fiscal cliff point has arrived, and we should all get ready for the New Year fireworks.

While the every day worker waits to see what they will pay in taxes next year ( in 36 hours), President Obama has used his pen to sign an Executive Order to make sure that Joe Biden and other senior officials get…. a PAY RAISE.

Absent a last minute deal, the taxes on all Americans will increase, they payroll tax holiday will end, there will be major cuts in defense, unemployment benefits will end for millions of the unemployed. Many businesses are stuck in limbo as far as planning due to these many factors. But we can all sleep better knowing that our Vice President got a pay raise that he “earned”.

Reminescent of the 2008 Election Day, the New Black Panthers have taken up their “monitoring” of the polls in Pennsylvania, sans the billy clubs. GOP Pollwatchers were banned from another site until a judge issued an emergency order. A woman in Denver was told she could not wear her M.I.T. sweatshirt in to vote because it was “political”, as was a t-shirt in Texas that said “Vote the Bible”.

In the battleground areas such as Ohio and Florida, there will be challenges to the process made throughout the day.

Meanwhile, President Obama and the First Lady will do some satellite talks from Chicago, enjoying their home there (where they will soon be sent packing to unless they opt for that $35million dollar home in Hawaii). The President is said to be preparing for his traditional Election day basketball game. The GOP contender is taking the battle head on, right to the end. After the Romneys voted in Belmont, MA, and the Ryan’s voted in Janesville, WI, it was back to the campaign, with stops in Cleveland OH, Pittsburgh PA, and Virginia, before both couples meet up together in Boston tonight for what many expect to be the celebration of the Election of POTUS #45, Willard Mitt Romney!!

And, for the election weary, your rest will be shortlived. For regardless of tonight’s winner, there is one thing we can be assured of…. the 2016 Presidential race begins TOMORROW!

Despite the ongoing questioning of “who knew what and when” and ” who sent Ambassador Rice out to call the Banghazi attacks the result spontaneous riots because of the Youtube video”, in last night’s debate, president Obama cited his Rose Garden speech to say he called the attacks “terrorism” from the start.

But are the spinmasters making parsing words. In the early part of his text in the Rose Garden on September 12th, the President mentions our freedom of religion and speech, but that we do not approve of those who denigrate other religions, which was a clear reference to the YouTube video that the administration has used as their cover tool for the uprisings in the Mideast. Toward the end of his address, he then states that “no act of terror” will lessen the resolve of this great Nation.

So did Obama call the Benghazi attacks an act of terrorism? If he did, WHY did he then go on The View and Letterman, as well as address the UN, all with remarks that blamed the video, and did not use the term terrorism? Why did Ambassador Rice go on FIVE Sunday talk shows and discuss the “spontaneous riots” over a “video”, instead of saying an “act of terrorism”? To say the comments were based on the intelligence reports at hand is unconscionable, given the fact that the State Department has testified that from Day One, they knew that the consulate had been attacked.

There are so many unanswered questions, and the President will “get to the bottom of it”…… after the Election.

When a wise man has a controversy with a foolish man, The foolish man either rages or laughs, and there is no rest. – Proverbs 29:9 NASB
