Making Lady Liberty “Sharia Compliant”

There’s a website called Shariah 4 America that is calling for the destruction of the Statue of Liberty.  I hate to drive any traffic to this site but you should read what they are saying.  It  will raise the hairs on your neck and send a chill down your spine.  Here’s what they want to happen…

One of the founding principles of the Islamic constitution is to ensure that all sovereignty and supremacy belongs solely to God; the Shari’ah is a practical manifestation of this sovereignty and supremacy because it seeks to establish His command in society.

The status of a nation subsequently does not depend on its number, strength or technological advancement, but rather how much it submits to the commands of God. When a nation seeks to be free from such commands, then ultimately it will meet its destruction.

The Statue of Liberty, designed by Frederic Bartholdi, stands on Liberty Island in New York Harbor; representing Libertas, the Roman (false) goddess of Freedom, it is symbolic of the rebellious nature of the US constitution that elevates the command of man over the command of God.

In Islam, the public veneration of idols and statues is strictly prohibited. This has forced sincere Muslims to develop realistic plans that will aid in the removal of the Statue of Liberty.

Due to the scale of the task at hand, it is highly likely that rigorous safety checks will need to be employed before the demolition of the Statue of Liberty can commence; thus as a temporary measure, it is proposed that a large burkha is used to cover the statue, thereby shielding this horrendous eye sore from public view as well as sending a strong message to its French creators.

Post demolition, it is recommended that a minaret be built as a fitting replacement, allowing the glorification of God to be proclaimed daily as well as act as a powerful reminder of the superiority of Islam over all other ways of life.

 

This sounds to me like they are openly calling for a terrorist attack on our beloved Lady.

UK’s Telegraph: Obama is “Vulnerable” on Terrorism

In his weekly radio address yesterday, President Barack Obama patted himself on the back for having “refocused the fight – bringing to a responsible end the war in Iraq, which had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks”.

He then told people to remember that “our adversaries are those who would attack our country, not our fellow Americans”, before decrying “fear and cynicism” and “partisanship and division” – the code phrases for horrid Republicans used during his 2008 election campaign.

Complacency, faux moralising and partisan shots at Republicans. It was a neat summary of where Obama is going wrong after the Christmas Day debacle when the Nigerian knicker bomber managed to waltz onto a Detroit-bound flight.

For a man who campaigned denouncing the politicisation of national security under President George W Bush, it is worth noting how intensely political Obama’s treatment of what might henceforth be known as Underpantsgate has been.

Obama addresses the MidEast, “Time is Ripe for Peace”, and reminds the World of his Muslim Roots

     Giving his first interview to an Arab network, President Obama proclaimed that the world is ready for peace, that the Middle East is “ripe” to accept the challenges of peace, and directly to Iran, that America is ready to have peaceful discussions once Iran is willing to “unclench its fists” to the world.

     His interviews underscored his commitment to restoring America’s relationship with the Muslim world, much like it was 20 to 30 years ago, until the Iran hostage situation caused a shift on both sides. Because of our longtime commitment to Israel, America has always had to maintain a balancing position in our relations with the leaders on both sides of the Middle East conflict, and President Obama was making an effort to state that we are not going to disregard our commitment to Israel, while at the same time, the area is ripe for peace.

      Perhaps the most gripping statement in the interview was one that Obama avoided on the campaign trail, choosing not to highlight it, was his discussion of the fabric of his family, which includes “my family is Muslim”. One must wonder how Osamma bin Laden reacted to that statement in relation to his call for jihad on America!

UPDATE:    

Obama gave an interview to a foreign (Iraqi I think) tv station yesterday. My first question is WHY would a so called “President of the United States of America” overlook the American Media, to give his very first interview to a foreign press source.

My next question is, WHY would the so called “President of the United States of America” speak to the Leaders of Foreign Countries, THRU a TV REPORTER?!  When has a “POTUS” EVER given a TV interview to a Foreign Reporter/TV Station, in lieu of communicating directly to the Leaders of those Countries?   I seriously believe he has Narcissistic Personality Disorder or NPD as described here.

 And, after 2years of campaigning and thousands of questions posed to him about his Muslim roots, which he consistently denied, never did he mumble the words “My family members are Muslim, and I’ve lived in Muslim Countries”.  Until now that is.  Now that he’s a squatter in the White House, he must feel secure enough to finally start leaking bits and pieces of truth.  Getting too comfortable is when one starts to have major problems!.

UPDATE: In the Obama interview, he apologized for the disrespect his predecssors had shown the Islamic community. Is it complete audacity for him to think he has a need to apologize on behalf of this country. The Honorable President George W. Bush, a mere 7 days after Muslim terrorists killed more than 3000 citizens on our soil, walked into the Islamic center in DC, and made it very clear that in no way would any disrespect to the Muslim community be tolerated because of the actions of a few militants. That does not sound like a nation’s leader who was setting out on a path of disrespect for the Muslim community.

Further, it is noteworthy that in his entire interview, he never once mentioned the word “DEMOCRACY”, and the State Dept has eluded to the fact that democracy may not be on the forefront of our future international plans.
