God and Jerusalem: Debbie Flubs Through an Explanation, and Anderson Cooper Says “Must be an Alternate Universe”

By now, we have all heard the Democrats try to backpeddle after eliminating the word GOD entirely from their platform, and not recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. No matter how you spin it, it is clear that the Democratic Party platform is attempting to move away from God altogether.
But nothing gets better than watching the DNC Chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) try to explain that there was no discord on the floor of the DNC Convention and that the platform is exactly what “Obama” wanted. Watch through to hear Anderson Cooper’s remarks:
Has the WH Removed Jerusalem from Israel on Its Official Sites?

On Tuesday, The Weekly Standard’s deputy online editor, Daniel Halper, made a noteworthy charge against the White House.
Following an article in which he discussed the ongoing debate over which country the U.S. believes Jerusalem is in (hint: It’s not Israel), Halper claims that the White House “cleansed” its site of references to the city being definitively tied to the Jewish homeland.
KISS’ Gene Simmons Wants His Obama Vote Back

Gene Simmons is most famous for sticking out his tongue while singing in the band KISS, but now he’s sticking out his tongue at President Obama too. Simmons appeared on Varney & Co. this morning and told Stuart Varneythat he is embarrassed by the fact that he voted for Obama in 2008. Coming from a man who usually wears make-up in public, that’s certainly saying a lot.
Simmons explained that he was hopeful Obama would surround himself with business leaders and not professors:
“I want my vote back. This is a good man . . . but I don’t think the man is qualified to understand the structure and what business needs, which is to be well-informed. . . . Our President had two years of local experience, was born in Hawaii and never ran a business in his life.”

Obama Lauds the Arab Spring

It is getting mighty crowded under that bus that President Obama has been driving!!
The latest victim of his poor driving skills: ISRAEL
In a speech described as his “Mideast Policy in a post-bin Laden World”, Obama called for Israel to make the necessary land swaps with Palestine so that the Palestinians would have their own borders, and can be recognized as a country by that wonderful international body– the United Nations.
On the eve of the visit from Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Obama White House has lauded in the Arab Spring, and one can only wonder how this will change the Mideast forever.
Mubarak Resigns

As nightfall came across Cairo, word came to the angry protesters, on their 18th day, that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has officially resigned.
Reports earlier in the day had indicated that under the cover of night, Mubarak was shepherded out the country. These reports are unconfirmed. Update: It is being reported that Mubarak left the Presidential residence, and flew to his winter home.
At 1:30pm, Pres. Barack “Carter” Obama is expected to make a public statement about the ongoing process in Egypt. It should be noted that with Mabarak’s departure, the coming months will be volatile, and could have a major impact on our international relations.
Jon Voight’s Open Letter to Barack Obama

An open letter from actor Jon Voight to President Obama:
June 22, 2010
President Obama:
You will be the first American president that lied to the Jewish people, and the American people as well, when you said that you would defend Israel, the only Democratic state in the Middle East, against all their enemies. You have done just the opposite. You have propagandized Israel, until they look like they are everyone’s enemy — and it has resonated throughout the world. You are putting Israel in harm’s way, and you have promoted anti-Semitism throughout the world.
You have brought this to a people who have given the world the Ten Commandments and most laws we live by today. The Jewish people have given the world our greatest scientists and philosophers, and the cures for many diseases, and now you play a very dangerous game so you can look like a true martyr to what you see and say are the underdogs. But the underdogs you defend are murderers and criminals who want Israel eradicated.
You have brought to Arizona a civil war, once again defending the criminals and illegals, creating a meltdown for good, loyal, law-abiding citizens. Your destruction of this country may never be remedied, and we may never recover. I pray to God you stop, and I hope the people in this great country realize your agenda is not for the betterment of mankind, but for the betterment of your politics.
With heartfelt and deep concern for America and Israel,
Jon Voight

Obama’s Muslim Roots Are Putting Israel “Under the Bus”

Who authorized this President, at this time, to shift our commitment to our ally, Israel, to disrespect and discard the decades of support we have shown to the nation of Israel? Is this just another example of his “Just Words” that have no meaning whatsoever? After all, he vowed to the Jewish community that his Muslim roots would in no way have any bearing on our relationship with Israel.
But it seems that foreign dignitaries are seeing that Obama is devoutly devoted to his Muslim origins. Not just in his bows to the Saudi king, but in his rhetoric, in his disrespectful treatment of Netanyahu, and his “open arms” treatment of Hamas at the White House this week:
“Obama is a real problem for Israel,” a senior official told told Yediot. “He is Israel’s biggest strategic catastrophe.” The newspaper also quoted another official who believes that for the first time Washington has switched sides. “The Obama White House is putting pressure only on Israel but does not expect anything from the Palestinians,” he said. “These American demands are unacceptable.”

Obama told me he is still a Muslim, who supports the Muslim agenda.
David Horowitz and Muslim Student Collide @ Lecture

Toward the end of the video, Horowitz confronted her with this question:
“I’m a Jew. The head of Hezbollah has said that he hopes that we will gather in Israel so he doesn’t have to hunt us down globally. For it or against it?”
The Muslim student responded: “For it.” In essence, the student was saying she is for a second Holocaust.
Horowitz ended the exchange by telling the woman, “Thank you for coming and showing everybody what’s here.”
The Nation of Israel

Perhaps the Reverend Jeremiah Wright never quoted these passages during Barack Obama’s twenty years at the Trinity Church, or perhaps this was one of the sermons that Obama missed:
Thus says the Lord GOD:
I will take the children of Israel from among the nations
to which they have come,
and gather them from all sides to bring them back to their land.
I will make them one nation upon the land,
in the mountains of Israel,
and there shall be one prince for them all.
Never again shall they be two nations,
and never again shall they be divided into two kingdoms.
They shall live on the land that I gave to my servant Jacob,
the land where their fathers lived;
they shall live on it forever,
they, and their children, and their children’s children,
with my servant David their prince forever.
I will make with them a covenant of peace;
it shall be an everlasting covenant with them,
and I will multiply them, and put my sanctuary among them forever.
My dwelling shall be with them;
I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Thus the nations shall know that it is I, the LORD,
who make Israel holy,
when my sanctuary shall be set up among them forever.

Obama Has “Great Week” With Two “Big Wins”, but his Arrogance Could Neutralize any Benefit from the Win.

Barack Obama smugly addressed the crowds in Iowa, just days after signing his “signature” legislation, affectionately called ObamaCare. He was in Iowa to “sell” his ObamaCare vision, but not as the leader of this great nation, but as the forever candidate on the campaign trail. He belittled and taunted his healthcare opponents, daring them to run in November on the platform of repealing the ObamaCare.
Touted as being mere boys trying to play in the men’s club, the Obama team has shown, after 14 months, that running one of the greatest campaigns in our history does NOT translate to being effective executives once in control.
Despite that, Obama had his two wins this week:
Two big wins for Barack Obama at home and abroad — a historic health care bill and a new arms treaty with Russia — have injected sudden momentum into a presidency that had been looking beleaguered.
“What a week here,” White House press secretary Robert Gibbs wrote on his twitter feed, as Obama concluded a new strategic arms reduction treaty in a call with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Friday.
In six days, two of the biggest projects of Obama’s presidency came to fruition after months of painstaking work, transforming the image of an administration that had swung hard but failed to connect on big agenda items.
But with these wins comes greater responsibility, the responsibility on how to handle the success while not appearing to gloat at the success. So then consider the manner in which Obama treated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his White House visit on Tuesday evening. No press, no photo, and in the middle of the discussion, Obama leaves the Prime Minister for an hour to have dinner with the family. As someone who has had to address his Muslim heritage, including his bows to Muslim leaders like the Saudi’s, one would think that Obama would make a far greater effort to embrace our close ties with our great Mideast ally, Israel.
And the lofty idea that Obama’s hope-fueled politics, huge popularity, exotic biography, later enhanced by a Nobel Peace Prize, could resolve the world’s most testing conflicts had already proven fanciful.
Statesmanship is also no guarantee of domestic success at home — just ask ex-president George H.W. Bush, turfed out of office in an economic downturn after engineering a soft landing for the Cold War and evicting Iraq from Kuwait.
A toxic political climate at home could prove limiting for Obama: his bitterly-won health care victory deepened the polarization of US politics, making prospects for future legislative successes uncertain.
His political fate, like those of his recent predecessors, may depend on the pace of economic growth and job creation, with unemployment at 9.7 percent.
Economic misery and its impact on Obama’s popularity — currently below 50 percent in most polls — will also drive mid-term congressional elections in November, in which Democrats fear big losses.
And perilous issues loom — like the delayed closure of trials for terror suspects at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and the struggle to enact financial reform — that could also dim the president’s new political luster.
What Obama does from this point is unclear. If his actions thus far are any indication, arrogance will prevail over leadership!
