It is Christmas Eve, and the holiday celebrations of Christmas are upon us.

After several years of trying to diminish the use of CHRISTMAS, it appears the message my be getting through. Kentucky’s Governor Steve Beshear has had to back off of his initial plans for a “Holiday Tree” for the state after he was inundated with calls, emails and letters that demanded the tree be referred to as a “Christmas Tree”:
