They seem to get the point “spot on” at Hillbuzz.org:

I’m cruising along right now at 35,000 feet somewhere over New York and I’m looking out the airplane window at the beautiful blue sky and bright sunshine…very peaceful. Then it hit me… that while all is calm way up here in the big blue sky… it’s all chaos and turmoil down below and we don’t have a leader strong enough to see us through these scary times. What’s happened over the last several months (probably more like years) is biblical. End-time tsunami, several catastrophic earthquakes, possible nuclear disaster, major unrest in the Middle East, world financial crisis…and I’m sure I’m missing a few other events but you get the big picture. It’s scary. It’s scary as hell and what does our brilliant leader talk about on Saturday’s radio address?

(FoxNews)Amid chaos around the world and on Capitol Hill, Obama’s Saturday radio address was devoted to Women’s History Month and a call to pass the Paycheck Fairness Act, a proposal meant to address the income gap between men and women. Then, the president went golfing at Andrews Air Force Base.

What is he thinking? Is he burying his head in the sand hoping that it will all just go away?

This world needs a real leader.

NOW.

I just couldn’t resist this one.  If you want a good chuckle on this Sunday morning…go to Twitter and type in #KeithOlbermann or #countdown and read the posts from the people who are in mourning over the firing of Olbermann.  They’re downright rabid over this one.

http://hillbuzz.org/2011/01/23/people-in-mourning-over-olbermanns-firing/

On Thursday, when the members of the House of Representatives took to the floor of the House to read the US Constitution, Arizona’s Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords read from the First Amendment about our right to “assemble, and to address our grievances”. Less than 72 hours later, a 22 year old opens fire in a crowd where Rep. Giffords was meeting with a crowd of constituents in the parking lot of a Safeway Grocery store in Tucson, one of her “Congress on the Corner” meetings.

When the shooting ended, at least 19 had been shot, with at least 5 dead. Among the dead was US District Judge John Roll, who had been appointed to the Federal judiciary by George HW Bush, and a 9 year old girl. As for Rep. Giffords, it is reported that she was hit by a bullet that when in one temple, and exited the other side. She is reportedly out of surgery, in critical condition, with doctors indicating that she is responding to commands and they are optimistic about her recovery. It has alse been reported that Rep. Giffords was conscious at the scene despite her injuries

“Gabby” Gifford would be considered a “fiscally conservative blue dog Democrat”, who was a Republican. She is “pro-life” and “pro-gun”, being a gun owner herself. Her district has 100 miles of border with Mexico. Her husband, Capt. Mark Kelly, is a space shuttle astronaut.

Gabrielle and Mark, April 2010

Immediately, as was to be expected, the media and the left bloggers were already blaming “right-wing extremist”, “Tea Party activists”, and the Daily Kos is pointedly blaming Sarah Palin. Ironically, Rep. Giffords was listed in 2008 in the Daily Kos as one of the legislators who had “bulls eye” target on them for certain votes. Initially it was reported that the shooter was a veteran having served in Afghanistan. The Pentagon is stating they have no record of the shooter.

In the hours since the shootings, with the suspect Jared Lee Loughren in custody, the emails, posts, MySpace comments, have come forward, showing a twisted individual, and one who is not the right wing individual that the media “wants” him to be.  Hillbuzz.org is reporting that the suspect had posted comments that his Congresswoman (Giffords) had voted against Nancy Pelosi on Thursday, and that she was “Dead to me”. These posts were shown earlier on Daily Kos, but they have since been scrubbed, presumably because they do not fit the “right wing extremist” theory.

President Obama and Speaker Boehner both made statements that state there is no place for violence in our free and open society. One has to wonder what Frances Fox Piven or Van Jones are thinking right now, both having made statements recently calling for “violence”.

from the group at Hillbuzz:

Here are a few predictions we expect to come true:

(1) Andrew Breitbart is going to bring down Obama with the Pigford Black Reparations expose he’s pushing.  Breitbart is a dog with a bone and will not stop.  Michele Bachmann, Steve King, and Darryl Issa are going to demand answers to why the USDA, under Obama’s orders, allowed tens of thousands of fraudulent payments of $50,000 a piece in “Obama money” to black Obama supporters in 2010 via Pigford.  Obama will most likely still be in office by the end of 2011, but Breitbart’s work is going to assure he’s the one term president we always knew he would be.

(2) Michelle Antoinette Obama is going to have her “let them eat cake moment”.  She’s come close already, but the more Pigford is in the news, the more criticism of the Obamas will be allowed in the media, and the more perturbed she will be that the days of her being lauded as “a global fashion icon” will be over.  She’ll snap at someone, in public, and it will be indelible.  It is only a matter of time.

(3) What Big Labor pulled in New York this last week with the ordered work slowage/stoppage during that massive blizzard will come back to haunt the unions nationwide in a big way.  A massive public backlash against public unions has been building, and this stunt in New York (which resulted in the deaths of two people) is a major crack in a dam that’s been straining to bursting for some time.  America just can’t afford the corruption and graft of unions, and this New York union might have finally awakened enough people for something to be done about it.

(4) The Cocktail Party GOP establishment will have a “let them eat cake moment” of their own, similar to Michelle Antoinette Obama.  This is something that has also been building:  a moment where the GOP establishment proves how out of touch it is, so that regular Americans can see the GOP establishment has been enabling everything the Left does, for their own personal gain.  We all know 2008 was the Republican Party’s last chance: either it becomes more conservative and does what the majority of Americans wants it to do, or it keeps the status quo and remains squishy and blackmailed/controlled by Democrats…in which case, it’s over and done with and some new entity will arise to replace it.  That’s actually very bad for the country, because a third party is the only way Obama wins a second term. Democrats will try to split the conservative vote in 2012 between a Republican candidate and a Tea Party candidate, in which case Obama is re-elected.  This has to be stopped at all costs…but the GOP establishment actually wants to lose the 2012 election because it seems to believe it can wait out the Tea Partiers and return to the status quo if they are demoralized by eight years of Obama in the White House (which would mean a Cocktail Party Republican in 2016, like a Tim Pawlenty or Mike Pence if the establishment succeeds in running Romney in 2012 like they want, because “it’s his turn”).

from Hillbuzz:

By being such an unmitigated disaster and abject failure of a president, and by delivering none of his promises to the black community, Obama’s opening the door for a real-deal black President to come forward within our lifetime to be the Alpha to Obama’s Omega, the Zenith to his Nadir.

I personally believe that man’s going to be Lt. Colonel Allen West…and it’s just an aspirational, hopeful, gut feeling I get whenever I read anything about him.

I believe Governor Palin is going to pick West to be her running mate in 2012 — and, no, I don’t believe West serving just one term in Congress is going to hinder him, since his military experience more than equals whatever time he could has spent in the legislature if he had run for office sooner.

Palin/West is just such a dynamic combo.

Under the Stafford Act, the responsibility for the emergency operations dusing an onshore natural catastrophe lies with the Governor of the state, with the federal government able to offer any and all resources necessary to assist the Governor. Thus, despite all the criticism of George Bush over his handling of Katrina, the real responsibility lied with Gov. Blanco, who was quoted as saying she was getting angry waiting for Bush to call out the National Guard, before one of her aides whispered to her that Bush wouldn’t be doing that, since that was her job.

But the BP Oil spill is NOT on the continental US, and therefore does not fall under the Stafford Act, but under other legislation regarding the oil industry and our natural resources. This catastrophe lies solely under the responsibility of the President of the United States. So, with all of his managerial executive expertise that Barack Obama garnered in his career (none), he is in charge of the Gulf operation. If he were a CEO, I think the Board would be firing him.

Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-La) must be at the end of his rope by now with the bungling mismanagement by the Obama administration, and he should now garner the fortitude of some of his contemporaries, like Gov. Jan Brewer and Gov. Chris Christie:

The only Republican Governors with the guts to do what’s needed to defend their people no matter what are Sarah Palin, Jan Brewer, Chris Christie, and Haley Barbour, with Barbour, Brewer, and Christie being the ones still in office, and Tim Pawlenty as an example of a typical Republican capitulist governor who’s more soggy cucumbers and mayonnaise sandwich than he is the right man for any job.

Bobby Jindal has filed request after request for the federal government to approve sand barrier islands to stop the Gulf Oil Disaster from destroying Louisiana’s coast line.  Obama has withered and dithered on this, and has not approved those plans.  He sure as sand jumped right in to call Cambridge Police “stupid” when he didn’t even know the story involving notorious race-baiter Henry Gates, though. So, there are some times when Obama’s magical prescience and immense knowledge allow him to make snap and resolute decisions, and other times he’d rather be hanging out with Paul McCartney at YET ANOTHER lavish White House Wednesday Night cocktail party.

Reading Jindal’s paperwork must be super boring. Obama’s never shown much interest in anything boring, or difficult.  Work, following through on promises, doing things right.  Why bother?  Time for another vacation!

Meanwhile, we wonder if Jindal had the guts, and just went on TV and said, “Screw you” and mobilized the national guard in Louisiana to defend his state by building those islands — to Hell with federal bureaucracy — what could Obama do about it?

Would he dare STOP Jindal, or arrest him?

If you close your eyes and think, “Diehard Sarah Palin supporter,” an image of Kevin DuJan is unlikely to come to mind.

A 33-year-old gay man who works as a development consultant and freelance writer, DuJan has long considered himself a Clinton Democrat. During the 2008 primaries, he spent his weekdays running phone banks for Hillary Clinton out of his home in the Boystown neighborhood of Chicago and traveled to 26 states and Puerto Rico on behalf of the candidate.

But after Clinton suspended her campaign, DuJan made a dramatic about face and spent the general election volunteering for the Republican ticket.

When John McCain named Sarah Palin his vice presidential nominee, DuJan was overjoyed, and Palin quickly became his new political idol. He is now eagerly awaiting the arrival of February 6, 2011, the date he has decided that Sarah Palin will announce her 2012 presidential campaign in Tampico, Illinois, to mark the 100th anniversary of hometown hero Ronald Reagan’s birthday.

May 24, 2010 — SPECIAL REPORT. Obama and Emanuel: members of same gay bath house club in Chicago
Posted on May 25, 2010 by wecogitate
Wayne Madsen
Excerpt
President Obama and his chief of staff Rahm Emanuel are lifetime members of the same gay bath house in uptown Chicago, according to informed sources in Chicago’s gay community, as well as veteran political sources in the city.
The bath house, Man’s Country, caters to older white men and it has been in business for some 30 years and is known as one of uptown Chicago’s “grand old bathhouses.” WMR was told by sources who are familiar with the bath house that it provides lifetime memberships to paying customers and that the club’s computerized files and pre-computer paper files, include membership information for both Obama and Emanuel. However, sources close to “Man’s Country” believe the U.S. Secret Service has purged the computer and filing cabinet files of the membership data on Obama and Emanuel.
Members of Man’s Country are also issued club identification cards. WMR learned that Obama and Emanuel possessed the ID cards, which were required for entry.
Obama began frequenting Man’s Country in the mid-1990s, during the time he transitioned from a lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School to his election as an Illinois State Senator in 1996. Emanuel, reportedly joined Man’s Country after he left the Clinton White Hosue and moved back to Chicago in 1998, joining the investment firm of Wasserstein Perella and maintaining his membership during his 2002 campaign for the U.S. 5th District House seat vacated by Rod Blagojevich, who was elected governor.
Man’s Country appears to be a “one stop shopping” center for gay men. The club’s website advertises steam rooms, “fantasy rooms,” bed rooms, male strippers, adult movies, and lockers.
However, Man’s Country was not the only location for Obama’s predatory gay sex activities. The Chicago gay community is aware that Obama often made contacts with younger men at his famous “pick-up basketball” games. It was at these “pick up” matches where Obama first met Emanuel and a young Democratic campaign worker and senior bank vice president named Alexi Giannoulias. Currently running for Obama’s old U.S. Senate seat now occupied by Roland Burris, Giannoulias successfully ran for Illinois Treasurer in 2006 after being drafted for the run by Chicago’s Democratic machine.
