(Florida Today) — A 21-year-year-old woman faces hate-crime charges after police said she repeatedly spit at a Walmart customer who told her she entered the wrong door and later proclaimed that “Americans are pushing us around.” (emphasis added)

Nuha Mohammed Al-Doaifi, a Saudi Arabian national, faces a charge of battery with a hate-crime enhancement after Palm Bay police were called at about 1 p.m. Sunday to the Walmart store at 1040 Malabar Road to investigate reports of a disturbance.

The hate-crime enhancement means that the battery charge could be elevated to a felony.

Police said the incident started when Al-Doaifi attempted to roll a shopping cart into the store and struck the exit door.

A customer told her she was using the wrong door, prompting Al-Doaifi to spit in the person’s face before turning and walking on into the store to go shopping, police said.

“Her actions were directed at random people based on their ethnicity and that’s according to her own statement,” Yvonne Martinez, spokeswoman said.

Witnesses said Al-Doaifi, accompanied by her 2-year-old son, also spit at another customer who apparently got to close to her.

The spittle missed in that case, police said.

Workers at the store were notified and called police.

Several patrol officers approached Al-Doaifi to talk in the store and asked her why she spat at customers.

“Americans are pushing us around,” Al-Doaifi stated before officers took her into custody, according to reports.

She was arrested and booked into the Brevard County Detention Center in Sharpes where she remains jailed today.

Does this constitute “HATE CRIME”?:

A pair of charred dolls were discovered this week in the backyard of burn victim Michael Brewer’s Deerfield Beach home, according to a report released by the Broward Sheriff’s Office on Thursday.

The dolls were found Wednesday afternoon in the pool by Brewer’s older sister, Malissa Durkee, 22, the report stated.

It was close to 1 p.m. when Durkee checked on the backyard and noticed an open gate — and found two dolls.

“The male and female dolls had been burned and had been joined together heads to feet,” the report said.

The dolls belonged to Durkee’s three young children. They had last been seen on Tuesday in the front yard of the home in the 1400 block of South Deerfield Avenue.

Later, Durkee heard the family dogs barking about 2:30 a.m., she told deputies, but didn’t venture outside to see what happened.

In response to the discovery, deputies went door to door and canvassed the neighborhood.

Michael remains hospitalized at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s burn center, where he is expected to spend months recovering from burns that covered 65 percent of his body.

On Oct. 12, the 15-year-old boy was doused with rubbing alcohol and set on fire. He jumped into a pool, extinguishing the flames, before paramedics arrived.

Five teenagers — all of whom were Brewer’s classmates at Deerfield Beach Middle School — have been arrested and charged with taking part in the October attack.

President Barack Obama has appointed Kevin Jennings to be the “Safe-School” czar. As a prt of the goals of Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, one would assume that he has a complete section of staff dedictaed to the development and implementation of porgrams that would keep our children safe at school. Consider the rash of guns confiscated at schools in Miami Dade county, as well as the recent stabbing at one of their schools, the white high school student attacked by a group of black students on a bus (and it is not deemed a hate crime), and the number of recent revelations of female teachers having sex with their male students.

But, alas, Obama feels that Duncan’s staff cannot do enough, so he appointed a “Safe School” czar, who, like most of the other special advisors, is not subject to the Senate’s confirmation process.

If the safe School czar was subject to the confirmation process, one would hope that the Senators would be outraged at the behavior of Kevin Jennings as a teacher.  Jennings has a pro-gay agenda, and believes in promoting homosexuality acceptance in the schools. What hasn’t seen as much press is a violation of the law in his promotion of that agenda. A male teen student confided in Jennings that he was involved with an “older man” in a homosexual relationship, which at the least amounted to statutory rape. By law, Jennings was required to report this to the authorities, yet he chose not to do so.

From the Washington Times:

According to Mr. Jennings’ own description in a new audiotape discovered by Fox News, the 15-year-old boy met the “older man” in a “bus station bathroom” and was taken to the older man’s home that night. When some details about the case became public, Mr. Jennings threatened to sue another teacher who called his failure to report the statutory rape “unethical.” Mr. Jennings’ defenders asserted that there was no evidence that he was aware the student had sex with the older man.

However, the new audiotape contradicts this claim. In 2000, Mr. Jennings gave a talk to the Iowa chapter of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, an advocacy group that promotes homosexuality in schools. On the tape, Mr. Jennings recollected that he told the student to make sure “to use a condom” when he was with the older man. That he actively encouraged the relationship is reinforced by Mr. Jennings’ own description in his 1994 book, “One Teacher in 10.” In that account, the teacher boasts how he allayed the student’s concerns about the relationship to such a degree that the 15-year-old “left my office with a smile on his face that I would see every time I saw him on the campus for the next two years, until he graduated.”

Is this appointment another example of how the vetting process in the Obama administration is incompetent, at the least, or completely arrogant to the role these appointments are playing in the establishment of policy in today’s society?  If Mr. Jennings could not comply with the laws in place to protect our youth from sexual predators, even encouraging an illegal and immoral relationship, how then can we PAY him and fund a staff for him to advise the President on programs to make our schools a safer place.
