American Thinker: Perhaps We Should Ask The Mailman

All of this got me to wondering whether an Ayers-Obama-Said-al-Mansour cabal had formed in the early 1980s back in New York City.  If so, such a combine might have generated enough momentum to push Obama’s career along.  To see if Obama and Ayers had crossed paths before Chicago, I ordered a copy of Bill Ayers’ 2001 memoir, Fugitive Days.  It was then that I began to realize the depth of Ayers’s involvement in Obama’s rise to power.

Obama would have needed help to get into Harvard.  Friendly biographer David Remnick tells us that Obama was an “unspectacular” student in his two years at Columbia and at every stop before that going back to grade school.  A Northwestern University professor, John L. McKnight, although a friend of Obama’s and a fellow Alinskyite, reinforces the point, telling Remnick, “I don’t think [Obama] did too well in college.”  As to Obama’s LSAT scores, Jimmy Hoffa’s body will be unearthed before those are.

How such an indifferent student got into a law school whose applicants’ LSAT scores typically track between the 98^th and the 99^th percentile and whose GPAs range between 3.80 and 4.00 is a subject the media have chosen not to explore.  Nor have they asked how Obama paid for that education.  Maybe it is time they ask the mailman.

Sen. Orrin Hatch has stated that he cannot support Ms. Kagan’s appointment to the Supreme Court.

Question: If Sen. Arlen Spector could not support Ms. Kagan’s appointment as Solicitor General last year, how can he support her LIFETIME appointment to the US Supreme Court?

 

LOL Mr. Obama, Surely You Were Just Joking??!!

 Surely You’re Joking, Mr. President

I’ve been trying for a week now to rationalize what I heard coming from the president in his State of the Union address last week, but no matter how hard I try to make it come out as a sane recitation of the past and realistic forecast for the future of the United States, it just doesn’t work. Surely, he must have been joking.

No one with his education and experience–although none of it in the realm of business or economics–could possibly believe that the public is so ignorant as to put any stock in what he was saying. I’m sure that the frequent applause given by the faithful in the audience was in response to the audacious comedy of it all; on one occasion in particular, when he mentioned a three-year-freeze at irresponsible spending levels which wouldn’t even start until next year, there was an audible gasp followed by some soft laughter just reeking of disbelief.  And if that hadn’t been the case, I would have to believe that the entire assemblage had gone mad, and that couldn’t possibly be true, could it?

If that speech, start to finish, was not intended to be a joke, then what we witnessed was the display of such arrogance as I have never seen – particularly coming from the president of the United States. I could not find one thing that Obama said, if taken seriously, that was anything more than hypocritical double-speak, a bald-faced misstatement of fact, or an attempt to set absurd expectations for our economy. No, I’m sure that if the assembled dignitaries had not assumed that it was all in jest, they would have either jeered him off the stage or gotten up and left the chambers rather than giving him standing ovation after standing ovation. I have this feeling that they had the inside “skinny” on his speech all along and they were applauding his ability to deliver it with a straight face.

My only concern is that it is taking him so long to come back on stage and say: “I was only kidding. Now let’s talk some sense. Things are bad and they’re only going to get worse unless we undergo a painful paradigm shift, so be prepared to tighten your belts.” Really, I’m starting to get nervous. Can it be possible that he actually took himself seriously? Nah, that can’t be. This is America, and things like that don’t happen here, do they?

Now I’ll get serious.

Yesterday, we posted a video flashback of President Obama’s friend and advocate, Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour.

Khalid is one of the people who reportedly was instrumental in getting Barack Obama into Harvard.

Khalid preaches that god wants to see the ears and noses of white people cut off.

Yesterday we received a comment in response to our post, which shocked us [emphasis added in red]:

I wanted to clarify that even though Khalid al-Mansour is a radical leftist from the 60’s that funded he start of the Black Panther Party as well as being the one who (with Bill Ayers)was instrumental in getting Obama into Harvard it was also al-Mansour that co-founded “the United Bank of Africa”. It is the bank that the “Christmas Day bombers” father ran which indirectly ties Obama to this plot. [LINK]

Before the bigot fascists of the Progressive movement get their exploding panties in a bunch, we are not saying Obama is connected to the Christmas Jihad. We are saying that Obama and the Progressive left are just as guilty of hanging with terrorists and their enablers as ANY Saudi Royal loving, oil pumping Republican.

WND: Obama’s “Nativity” Story Gets more Questionable

A recent photograph of Barack Obama Sr. with Stanley Dunham (Obama’s grandfather), along with other information from Stanley Ann Dunham’s acquaintances in Washington State, call the “nativity” story of the 44th President’s birth into question, and provide further challenges to the secrecy of his birth certificate.

World Net Daily reports:

WND has reported that contrary to President Obama’s statement, his father did not abandon the family in Hawaii when he accepted an invitation to study at Harvard in 1962.

Instead, his mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, abandoned Barack Obama Sr., when she moved from Hawaii to Seattle where she was enrolled in extension courses beginning Aug. 19, 1961, only 15 days after Barack Obama Jr. was born, according to Dunham’s grade transcript that WND obtained from the University of Washington.

The Polk city street directory for Seattle in 1961-1962 has Obama’s mother listed as a student living at 516 13th Ave. E., apartment 2, in Seattle’s Capitol Hill area, where babysitter Mary Toutonghi reported Obama’s mother attended night classes at the university that began at 4:30 p.m., as part of her extension school curriculum.

 

Documents uncovered by WND have raised questions whether President Obama’s parents ever lived together as husband and wife, despite Obama’s repeated assertions his parents lived together in Hawaii during the first two years of his life.

WND further reported the Polk city street directory for Honolulu for 1961-1962 indicates Obama’s grandparents, Madelyn and Stanley Dunham, lived at 6085 Kalanianaole Highway, the address listed for Obama’s birth in the announcement published in the Hawaiian newspaper at the time. Barack Obama Sr., meanwhile, maintained a separate bachelor pad at an 11th Avenue address, closer to the University of Hawaii.

Still, the nativity birth myth that Barack Obama, Sr. abandoned Ann Dunham when he left for Hawaii matches the nativity story he told on page 126 of Dreams from My Father.

To Bill Burton, Obama Spokesman: An Open Response to What American Voters Deserve to Know

  Obama Spokesperson Bill Burton appeared on FOXNews Fox & Friends earlier today to condemn Sen. McCain’s ads about Sen. Obama’s ongoing friendship with terorist Bill Ayers and his wife. In his usual beligerence, Burton brushed off most questions about Ayers, claiming that the Americans want to know about the economy, etc. I am responding as an American voter to Mr. Burton here:

     Dear Bill Burton:

    As the Obama campaign spokesman, I found your attacks on FOXNews “Fox & Friends” this morning obnoxious and boorish.

    From this American voter, let me answer and address your concerns of what we want from your campaign, at least in my opinion-

     Yes, we want answers on the economy, the bailout, McCain’s mortgage plan using the bailout funds, the war on terrorism, the war in Iraq, Osama bin Laden, healthcare, and every other pressing issue impacting us.

     Yes, we want honesty. No, we don’t like attack ads, but, be realistic, if they didn’t work, millions would not be spent on them.

     What we want is honest answers to the problems, and that honesty must have a foundation in a trust that has been earned from the American voter.

     Sen. Barack Obama’s “hidden” anger at the Ayers questions stems from the anger he built over the questions into his Rev. Wright relationship. If Obama cannot be forthright and “transparent” as he promised, then how is he the candidate of “Change”? How can he expect our trust if he won’t answer the questions:

       Yes, it’s important to know the FULL extent of Obama’s involvement with Ayers:

                      Their wives worked together. They served on several Boards together. Ayers chose Obama for the Chicago Annenberg Challenge to dole out between $50 & $100 million dollars to various organizations.

                       Obama was involved with the Democratic Socialists of America, which itself is alleged to be affiliated in the 1960′s with Ayer’s Weather Underground.

                       While out Columbia, a time that Obama has the journalists gloss over, Ayers lived just a few blocks from Obama…… sort of as he does now.

                        Are all of these things just coincidences. Give some honest answers.

     If Sen. Obama wants our trust on all of the important issues, he must be forthright. This candidate, whose father was from another nation, had to expect questions into his heritage, and should not have expected that his words…just words… would be or should be taken as gospel.

     Therefore, I ask:

           Why did the Senator use the Daily Kos to “role out” his birth certificate when it was questioned?

           Why is the Senator seeking a Protective Order to Halt Discovery in the lawsuit filed against him in Eastern Pennsylvania federal court by attorney Philip Berg?

           Why has the campaign opted to use a forged document as Obama’s birth certificate instead of simply providing the vault original?

           How did Barack Obama/Barry Soetoro travel to Pakistan in 1981 when the State Department had a travel ban to the area? Did Obama have an Indonesian passport as the amended lawsuit alleges, and thus Obama his CITIZENSHIP issues that can be raised just 26 DAYS before the election?

           Why won’t you permit your records from Occidental, Columbia and Princeton to be released, including the financial aid? Why does Mrs. Obama mention just “paying off the student loans” but in the debate Tuseday you alluded to having gone through school on scholarships? Were your student loans paid off prior to your 2004 run for the Senate? Which tax returns are they reflected on?

       You see, Mr. Burton, there are many questions for which the answers would give the American voter the truth, and the truth would garner Obama the trust he needs. Threats to McCain about the Keating 5 are Obama’s veiled attempt at intimidation; G. Gordon Liddy, unlike Ayer’s, paid his “debt to society”, so these attacks at McCain further inflame the American voter.

      Mr. Burton, I will put it in sales terms…. Obama has not “closed the deal” yet, and won’t if he cannot resolve these issues satisfactorily to us, the American voters.
