This is just so upsetting!!

Now, that it’s the holiday season and a time of buying and giving Christmas and
Chanukah gifts, a lot of people make the convenient choice of sending fruit baskets to their friends and
professional associates. But if you take this route, DON’T send a basket from
Edible Arrangements. If you do,
you are funding HAMAS abroad and Muslim community organizing, such as the group
IMAN, the Inner City
Muslim Action Network
, in the U.S.

Who authorized this President, at this time, to shift our commitment to our ally, Israel, to disrespect and discard the decades of support we have shown to the nation of Israel? Is this just another example of his “Just Words” that have no meaning whatsoever? After all, he vowed to the Jewish community that his Muslim roots would in no way have any bearing on our relationship with Israel.

But it seems that foreign dignitaries are seeing that Obama is devoutly devoted to his Muslim origins. Not just in his bows to the Saudi king, but in his rhetoric, in his disrespectful treatment of Netanyahu, and his “open arms” treatment of Hamas at the White House this week:

“Obama is a real problem for Israel,” a senior official told told Yediot. “He is Israel’s biggest strategic catastrophe.” The newspaper also quoted another official who believes that for the first time Washington has switched sides. “The Obama White House is putting pressure only on Israel but does not expect anything from the Palestinians,” he said. “These American demands are unacceptable.”

Obama Invites Hamas Terrorists to America

By executive order, President Barack Obama has ordered the expenditure of
$20.3 million in migration assistance to the Palestinian refugees and conflict
victims in Gaza.

The “presidential determination” which allows hundreds of thousands of Palestinians
with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United States was signed on January 27 and
appeared in the Federal Register on February 4.

President Obama’s decision, according to the Register, was necessitated by “the urgent refugee and migration needs” of the “victims.”

Few on Capitol Hill took note that the order provides a free ticket replete with housing and food allowances to individuals who have displayed their overwhelming support of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006.

The charter for Hamas calls for the replacement of the nation of Israel with a Palestinian Islamic state.

Since its formation in 1994, Hamas has been responsible for hundreds of terrorist attacks, including the 2002 Passover suicide bombing. The leaders of the movement signed the World Islamic Statement of 1998 – a document, penned by Osama bin Laden, which declared war on America and Israel.

President Obama’s executive order is expected to bring hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, many with ties to radical Islam, to our shores, furthering a process that was inaugurated in 1995 by Senator Ted Kennedy and the Cedar-Hart bill.

The battles for control of the lands in the Mideast have waged on for centuries, and date back to to twelve tribes of Israel as outlined in the Bible and the Torah. Today’s air strikes by Hamas and Israel in the Gaza area, and now Israel’s land push into the area serve to highlight the volatile nature of this area of the world. Hmasa has been listed as a known terrorist group, and a provider of terrorist support in the Mideast. Israel has been condemend by some as retaliating against Hamas with a show of force not warranted. The United Nations met well into the night trying to reach a resolution and a statement of position in this present conflict. What is truly important is that if a cease fire is to be reached, it must be done in such a manner that it is designed toward reaching a lasting accord, not simply a bandaid to the present conflict. This by no means suggests that the results now will be the “end all” of the Mideast problems, albeit that would be a great outcome, but perhaps from this bloodshed can come a new foundation for future resolution in the region.
