from GatewayPundit:

Dr. Jim Garrow, the author of The Pink Pagoda: One Man’s Quest to End Gendercide in China, made the following claim on Facebook this week that is getting a whole lot of attention. The Examiner reported:

On Monday, renowned author and humanitarian Dr. Jim Garrow made a shocking claim about what we can expect to see in Obama’s second term.

Garrow made the following Facebook post:

I have just been informed by a former senior military leader that Obama is using a new “litmus test” in determining who will stay and who must go in his military leaders. Get ready to explode folks. “The new litmus test of leadership in the military is if they will fire on US citizens or not.” Those who will not are being removed.

So, who is the source?

Garrow replied: “The man who told me this is one of America’s foremost military heroes.”

Hmm… It’s a stretch to believe Obama would want to fire on all US citizens.  But, if Garrow is just talking about Republicans he might be on to something.  It would be interesting to hear who his source was for the post.

It has now been a bit more than two months since our consulate and CIA-annex in Benghazi Libya was attacked, and our Ambassador and three brave heroes were brutally murdered. In the days, weeks, and months since the attack, we have seen the fawning media IGNORE the matter altogether, fearful it would derail the re-election of their beloved Obama.

Now the Obama team has secured its second term, and it appears that they are driving the proverbial bus over those who are not willing to be dismissive of the Libya debacle. After all, if Libya on 9-11 WAS A TERRORIST ATTACK, it diminishes the narrative that the foreign policies of Barack Obama have made a positive change for the United States.

With the added salacious sex-scandal that has ensnared Gen. David Petraeus, the mainstream media is now giving THAT ANGLE coverage.

There being so many questions regarding the events PRIOR to the consulate attack, the actual attack and the President’s lack of candor, the bungled PR stunts of Ambassador Susan Rice, and the investigation of Petraeus, is it not time now that we stop the “self-investigating”, and get to the T.O.M= the TRUTH of the MATTER?

It is now time that we know the “who, what, where, when and why” of Benghazi, and hold those responsible accountable on behalf of the brave Americans who died there!

Let the protesters yell and scream as school age children mark this special day of Thanksgiving. After all, our proud soldiers have defended our freedom of speech for more than 200 years.

Today is a wonderful day, despite the tragedies unfolding around the world. Today, we take an extra special moment to give thanks for all the bounties of our lives, big and small, and appreciate the things most special to us.

For me, I have been truly blessed with a wonderful wife, and together our lives have been truly blessed even more with wonderful children. Family is the foundation of the strength of our great Country, and I am ever thankful for the Family that surrounds us.

I am thankful that we live in a country where we are free to challenge the decisions of our leaders, to question their judgment, to question their qualifications. I am thankful that we have a judicial system, though sometimes flawed, that is supposed to interpret our laws free from political interference.

We should all be thankful for our Democracy and for the idealism of a free capitalistic society. We should all accept the challenges to ensure that our Democracy survives and that we refrain from a socialistic political agenda. We should be thankful that we are able to share our values, to discuss our differences, and to enjoy the basic freedoms of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

For those who loudly disagree with the voice of the populous, be thankful you can disagree. Be thankful that you live in a country where despite your angst at certain laws, you are free to live your life without fear for your lives.

We should be thankful to our President, who has kept a us free of another terrorist attack on our own soil since 9/11/01, and our President, who despite the criticism of the left, has shown the fortitude and wisdom in the strategy of the Iraq War, to the point that today, the Iraqi Parliament has approved the US-Iraq Pact that will define our withdrawal from Iraq by the end of 2011 in a clear manner. We should be thankful for Gen. Petraeus’ guidance in seeing the “surge” through to this ultimate goal.

Despite economic woes, we should be thankful for what we do have, for the blessings before us, and for a better tomorrow!!

From our home to yours, a very special Happy Thanksgiving, and a special prayer for all!!
