PHOTO ID was required for Congressional interns to attend a lecture by Attorney General Eric Holder as a part of their Summer Intern Program….. imagine that… PHOTO ID to attend a lecture by the man who says requiring photo ID to vote is discriminatory and disenfranchising,
From the Daily Caller:
Sources have confirmed to The Daily Caller that Attorney General Eric Holder on Wednesday scolded an intern from House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy’s office for taking notes during a lecture he gave on Capitol Hill.
According to one intern who was present, Holder had just started speaking when he noticed a male intern who was standing on the side of the packed room beginning to take notes with a pen and paper.
“Holder is talking and then he sees some kid taking notes,” the intern, who asked to remain anonymous to protect his boss, said in a phone interview. “He [Holder] asks, ‘Oh, why are you taking notes? Are you from the Washington Post?’”
“He [the intern Holder scolded] is like, ‘no,’” the intern who spoke with TheDC recalls.
“Then, he [Holder] is like, ‘what office do you work in?’” he continued. “And, the kid is like, ‘oh Kevin McCarthy.’”
He said, next, Holder responded, “’Oh, you’re one of those guys,’ kind of like jokingly but meaning he was a Republican.”
Holder’s remarks apparently had an effect on the room, the intern who spoke with TheDC said. ““Yeah, I was scared to take notes then,” he told TheDC. “No one else whipped out pens and paper to take notes.”

With just over 10% of the Democrats joining the Republicans, AG Eric Holder has been held in contempt of Congress, both criminal and civil.
It is going to get interesting!

“Fast & Furious” Gets Fast & Furious as AG Holder Requests and GETS Executive Privilege for Subpoened Docs: Welcome to Nixononia

A mere few days past the 40th anniversary marking the Watergate break in the led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon, and the Obama White House now appears to be evolving past its Jimmy Carter reputation into the abyss of Nixononia……………
Just minutes before the House Oversight Committee is to vote on the the Contempt Citation against AG Eric Holder and move ot to the floor of the House, the AG has requested that the White House grant Executive Privilege to the documents that the House committee had been requesting regarding the botched Fast and Furious Operation that ultimately led to the death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. Of course, the White House immediately asserted the Executive Privilege.
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) would not accept Holder’s offer of a “briefing” on the documents. The bottomline is: Who Knew What, When, and Are they Still Making Decisions?
Evoking one of my favorite actresses, Bette Davis, hold on, ’cause its gone be a bumpy ride!!
COUNTDOWN….. ObamaCare SCOTUS Watch, Holder’s “Fast & Furious” Debacle, Obama’s Immigration Ploy

So the COUNTDOWN continues as the US Supreme Court’s latest session nears its end.
OBAMACARE was not among the Court decisions released this morning, but with just days left, the decision is forthcoming.
Over at the DOJ, AG Eric Holder haggles with Congress of the release of the documents relating to the botched “Fast and Furious” operation that has left AT LEAST ONE American dead as a result of the failure to monitor the operation properly.
Then there was Friday’s mid-afternoon political ploy, with Barack Obama circumventing the laws passed by Congress regarding the immigartion status of those who came here as children, albeit illegally. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) summed up the actions of the Democrats regarding comprehensive immigration reform by saying that when Obama had the House and the Senate, he did nothing on immigration, despite campaign promises. That is because Democrats DO NOT want immigration reform, because it makes good political fodder EVERY election. The President’s Friday Immigration ploy is just like his gay marriage “evolution”: PANDERING !!!
So WHAT SAY YOU!!!??
“Fast and Furious” was to be used for New Gun Control Laws

Is Obama Becoming a Toxic Liability to the Dems? (We Know He Is to the Country)

Is President Barack Obama truly worse than Jimmy Carter?
Is he becoming a toxic liability to the Democrats?
Harry Reid is dragging his feet on bringing the Jobs Bill up for a vote, even as the President demands that the House, through Eric Cantor, brings it to the floor. Sen. Minority leader Mitch McConnell tries to call Reid’s bluff by calling for the Senate to vote on the bill. Bottomline, they all know that it is NOT a jobs bill….. it is a Stimulus 2.0 !
The POTUS is heading to the Midwest for ANOTHER fundraiser, and Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo) will NOT be in attendance, her office citing a scheduling conflict with another event. Claire, of course, is campaigning to keep HER job!
Add to all of this the growing review of the Solyndra scandal…….
And now, the top man at the DOJ appears to have “lied” to Congress when asked about his knowledge and the timeline of it with regard to the “Fast and Furious” gun-running program. In fact, the CBS reporter (yes, mainstream media) who has been pressing on the DOJ with regard to Fast and Furious was “screamed at” by both the White House and DOJ officials for her reporting. (Is it possible that there are still some “real” journalists still out there?)
All in all, the President looks and sounds like he may be resigning himself to the idea that he is the One $Billion$ Dollar Underdog, and his days left at the White House are shorter that he and Michelle had planned.
LA Times: EMails Show That White House was Aware of the “Fast and Furious” Operation

Newly obtained emails show that the White House was better informed about a failed gun-tracking operation on the border with Mexico than was previously known.
Three White House national security officials were given some details about the operation, dubbed Fast and Furious. The operation allowed firearms to be illegally purchased, with the goal of tracking them to Mexican drug cartels. But the effort went out of control after agents lost track of many of the weapons.
The supervisor of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives operation in Phoenix specifically mentioned Fast and Furious in at least one email to a White House national security official, and two other White House colleagues were briefed on reports from the supervisor, according to White House emails and a senior administration official.
But the senior administration official said the emails, obtained Thursday by The Times, did not prove that anyone in the White House was aware of the covert “investigative tactics” of the operation.
