With Axelrod Leading, Obama Campaign Goes to the “DOGS”; You Can’t Make This UP!!

It has been apparent for quite awhile that the Obama campaign team will not be able to wage a campaign on the President’s record, something that was non-existent in 2008, and that is now a dismal failure. So David axelrod, in an obvious attempt to move the conversation away from Hilary Rosen’s “she never worked a day in her life” comments about Ann Romney, decided to pull out an old story line about Mitt Romney: tying the dog crate, with the family dog in it, to the top of the station wagon for a trip! Really. This is where we have come to!

But just like the orchestrated Hilary Rosen comment fiasco got the Mom’s motivated, the dog story has opened up a whole new storyline….. for Obama.

Nothing is worse than your OWN words challenging you, but, right from the pages of his book, Dreams of My Father, Obama recounts some of his “life experience” with his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro, which included eating dog meat!:

“With Lolo, I learned how to eat small green chill peppers raw with dinner (plenty of rice), and, away from the dinner table, I was introduced to dog meat (tough), snake meat (tougher), and roasted grasshopper (crunchy). Like many Indonesians, Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths. He explained that a man took on the powers of whatever he ate: One day soon, he promised, he would bring home a piece of tiger meat for us to share.”

Now, I know some world travellers, and I know that different cultures see things differently. And since he was being raised in the Muslim home of his adopted Muslim father, this isn’t something that would be a news story, per se.

But since Mr. Axelrod wanted to highlight Romney’s National Lampoon Family Vacation story as a distraction, far be it for anyone to ignore. And so, the jokes on Twitter have grown. There is a Twitter thread for Obama dog recipes(

To his credit, Mitt Romney, when asked about this story line on Hannity, declined to enter that area, instead saying that his focus is on the economy and JOBS!!!

Student Defrauds Harvard Admissions; Still think Obama “Dreams” Couldn’t be a Fabrication?

     Anyone who thinks that the political machine that placed the empty suit (aka Obama) into the White House could not have fabricated the Obama “Dream” need only look as far as his “alma mater”, Harvard University:

 A Delaware man who attended Harvard University for two years before getting kicked out pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges he fabricated a perfect record of academic achievement to get into the Ivy League school.

Adam Wheeler was tossed from Harvard when he tried to get the school’s endorsement for Rhodes and Fulbright scholarships, and a professor reviewing his applications found evidence he had plagiarized from another professor, prosecutors say. Wheeler’s parents gave him up to a Yale official who called to ask about their son’s transfer application.

At his arraignment Tuesday, Wheeler was ordered held on $5,000 bail on 20 counts of larceny, identity fraud and other charges. If he makes bail, he must stay away from Harvard and the other academic institutions involved in the alleged scheme, surrender his passport and remain in Massachusetts, a Middlesex Superior Court judge said.

The 23-year-old Wheeler claimed he got a perfect score on the SAT, straight A’s at prestigious prep school Phillips Academy Andover and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on his application to Harvard in 2007, prosecutors said. In reality, he had never attended either school, Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone said.

Prosecutor John Verner said in court Tuesday that Wheeler essentially stole $45,000 in financial aid, scholarship money and academic awards from Harvard.

Evidence Grows in Obama’s Literary Fraud

The major media will not likely tackle the emerging evidence of Obama’s stunning literary fraud, but the days of Obama’s boasting about his writing skills are just as likely over.

The immediate cause of concern at the White House is Christopher Andersen’s largely benign new book, Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage.

 

Andersen contends that the ambitious Obama, unaware of JFK’s own literary fraud, hoped to launch his own political career with a book as did John Kennedy with the discreetly ghost-written Profiles In Courage. 

 

Despite a large advance, Obama found himself “hopelessly blocked.”  After four futile years of trying to finish, Obama “sought advice from his friend and Hyde Park neighbor Bill Ayers.”  This he did “at Michelle’s urging,” she being the more pragmatic half of the couple.

 

What attracted the Obamas were “Ayers’s proven abilities as a writer.” Barack particularly liked the fluid novelistic style of To Teach, a 1993 book by Ayers.  This he hoped to emulate for his own family history.  In fact, he had already taped interviews with many of his relatives, both African and American.  The key sentence in Andersen’s account is the one that follows:

 

“These oral histories, along with his partial manuscript and a trunkload of notes were given to Ayers.” Adds Andersen, “Thanks to help from veteran writer Ayers, Barack would be able to submit a manuscript to his editors at Times Book.”  The manuscript in question would become Obama’s 1995 memoir, Dreams From My Father, what Joe Klein of Time Magazine called “the best-written memoir ever produced by an American politician.”

Now, it is important to remember that Barack Obama, when asked about his relationship with terrorist Bill Ayers, said he was just someone whose kids went to the same school, just a minor acquaintance.

     Despite claims that they were only casual acquaintances, time has begun to show that Barack Obama and William Ayers’ relationship covered a longer period of time…. even to the point that some thought that Ayer’s may have written Brack Obama’s memoir “Dreams of My Father“. With some fundamental analysis, there may actually be some truth to that assertion:

“Both talk of reading the books of Malcolm X, James Baldwin, Langston Hughes, W.E.B. Dubois and Frantz Fanon among others.  In fact, each misspells “Frantz” as “Franz.” 

 Ayers and Obama, however, go beyond citing Sandburg.  Each quotes the opening line of his poem “Chicago.”  From Dreams: 

He poured himself more hot water. “What do you know about Chicago anyway?”

 I thought a moment. “Hog butcher to the world,” I said finally.

“At the turn of the century, Chicago had a population of a million people and was a young and muscular city – hub of commerce and industry, the first skyscraper city, home of the famous world exposition, “hog butcher to the world” – bursting with energy.”

 This I would call a B-level match.  What raises it up a notch to an A-level match is the fact that both misquote “Chicago,” and they do so in exactly the same way.  The poem actually opens, “Hog butcher for the world.”

I transcript what the little girl tells in my book and try to describe it in detail but the images are much more powerful. She’s a girl that in 2002 was starving in Tucuman, and cries because she’s hungry.
It’s hard to explain, but we see footage of people that are starving frequently. It’s just that it get’s more personal when it happens in your own country, and the children crying speak your language.

Reporter: What did you eat this morning, right now, that we saw you were eating something?
Barbarita smiles.
Barbarita: Tortilla
Reporter: And yesterday for supper?
(Barbarita’s smile starts to disappear as she starts to cry)
Barbarita: Nothing
Reporter: Now that you’re going to school, do they give you food?
Barbarita : No
Barbairta starts wiping the tears off her eyes
The shocked reporter asks a stupid question.
Reporter: Are you sad?
Barbarita: Yes
She cries for a couple seconds.
Reporter: What are you thinking? Tell me.
Barbarita: We haven’t eaten anything, we don’t have money.
The scene is cut and then continues.
The camera is close and you see that Barbarita is not only thin: She’s skin and bones and the skin has a grayish color. The big eyes are deep into her skull and you can see wrinkles around her eyes.
Reporter: How old are you?
Barbrita: Eight.
The reporter asks her last stupid question, and Barbarita’s reply puts a significant nail in the coffin where the future of this country was buried.
Reporter: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Barbarita: Nothing.

Could Obama’s Past lead to International BlackMail?

     He speaks of his travels to Pakistan in his memoir “Dreams of My Father”, travelling to the war-torn country at a time it was under martial law, at a time where it opened its borders more freely to those of Muslim heritage, for which he could pass at that time as a young adult (having not yet met his spiritual mentor Rev. Jeremiah Wright).

    In his books, he mentions his drug usage, which he contends he ended while still in college. Yet, there have been more than one allegation that the drug usage has occurred at other times, such as 1999, perhaps even during the campaign trail.

     He has worked with great effort to make sure that his vault birth certficate remains under lock and key in Hawaii, and to make sure that Occidental College does not honor the subpoenas that have been issued to release his college records. He has made sure that Columbia University and Harvard Law School do not release any records either.

    He has ties, politically and financially, to a convicted felon and a drug sex partier well known to the Chicago political elite.

     The Illinois Governor, now a loose cannon facing impeachment, has ties to the same politicos as he does.

     With all these loose ends to control, what type of blackmail can be used against our 44th President? We know that the President and Pakistan are at odds at the moment, particularly in light of the drones that attacked Pakistan on Friday. Can Pakistan use their passport records and customs reports from 1981 to change Us-Pakistani relations?

     Can Governor Blagojevich use his knowledge to keep his Governor’s seat or something better, to be less of a loose cannon?

     Have some of the Obama appointments been “quid pro quo” favors for keeping the college records sealed, such as the Harvard Law School Dean now a member of the Obama administration?

     I think that President Obama would be well served to release his birth certificate and his college records, post haste, and bring this fraud to an end……. let the chips then fall where they may!

Geithner’s Confirmation marred by Tax Problems; Geithner Appointment another “Thank You” to Obama Family Associate

     The Secretary of the Treasury designate hit a road bump in his confirmation hearings yesterday, casuing a postponement until AFTER the Inauguration, some embarrassing backtracking, and some questions about the person who will oversee the Director of every taxpayer’s nemesis, the IRS.

     With a story line eerily similar to several Clinton appointments in 1992, it was revealed during the hearings that Timothy Geithner had a household employee who was said to have been an illegal immigrant. As it was explained, the employee in question had immigrations expire, and it took several months for the paperwork to be corrected. (Counter that with Obama’s Aunt Zeituni who has stayed in the US illegally for more than three years, and who attended Obama’s Senate swearing-in in 2006).

     Of greater concern was Mr. Geithner’s failure to pay self-employment taxes during the four year period he worked as an independent contractor with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). This issue was known to the Obama transition team, and the matter had been resolved completely by the time that his appointment was announced. Geithner, stating his embarrassment, stated that it was a simple mistake. However, if confirmed as the Secretary of the Treasury, Geithner will be over the IRS, and it simply does not bode well for this type of glairng problem.

     While Geithner and the Obama team feel that they have not lost any of the Democratic vote support, but the Republicans are questioning the simplistic nature of it all. However, leading Republicans on the Senate Finance Committee have said that the present economic problems may in fact work to Geithner’s benefit. Geithner has been viewed as a positive choice by the Republicans because he has been actively involved in the Treasury Department’s TARP development in his role of the President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

    On a different note, there seems to be a tie between the Geithner family and the Obama family that goes back more than 20 years ago. Apparently, Timothy Geithner’s father, Peter Giethner, is the Director of the Ford Foundation’s Asian program, a role he has been involved in for years. In the 1980′s, Peter Geithner oversaw Ford Foundation’s microfinance programs in the Indonesia region. These programs were being developed by Stanley Ann Dunham Soetoro…… Barack Obama’s mother! It certainly is a very small world, or was Obama reaching back to make a special thank you to someone who worked with his mother.

     I said in a prior post that a book in tribute to his mother, and the work she did, would have to be a better story than the “Dreams” of his alcoholic deadbeat father who had abandoned him and his mother (and his other wives and the cackle of children he fathered).

Sen. Barack Obama was raised with several male role models in minor roles in his life, with perhaps the only major male role model in his early life being his maternal grandfather, Stanley Dunham. He writes that in his teen years, his grandfather introduced him to Frank Marshall Davis to provide him a male role model of the black race. But the two primary role models in his life in his early year were his mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, and even moreso, his grandmother, Madelyn “Toot” Dunham. Yet, his book is not about them or their influence on him, per se, but of a man he barely knew and who basically played no paternal role in his life whatsoever.

     I mention “Dreams of My Father”, first published in 1995 when Obama was first starting out in his political career, because in a brief citing, he mentions one item that has haunted him for months- his birth certificate.

    On Page 26 of “Dreams of My Father”, Obama writes:

 “I discovered this article, folded away among my birth certificate and old vaccination forms, when I was in high school,”

     While this brief quote does not state WHAT article it is that Obama found, it does mention that he found it WITH his BIRTH CERTIFICATE. This would have been in the mid 70′s, so this birth certificate would not have been a computer generated document.

     This means absolutely nothing except in the context that the campaign has been dogged by questions about the birth certificate since last Spring, and while they have posted a birth certificate, it is not the original. This statement shows that Obama has seen the original, and that it was in the apartment where he lived, and where his grandmother still resides.

      I do not necessarily believe that Obama was born in Kenya, even if Grandma Obama says she was present for the birth, but I believe that Obama’s failure to address this concern over his birth certificate has created or added to the theories about his heritage. There is obviously a reason that the Senator does not want to show his original birth certificate. Yes, there is no requirement for Obama to do so, but would it not have been more prudent to have done so? I see this as just one more reason why Obama has not been said to have “closed the deal” yet— check tonight’s polls!!
