TN Democrat Party States They Can Put “Ineligible” Candidates on Ballot in Response to Obama Eligibility Lawsuit

Weary of defending in court the Constitutional eligibility of their man at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, the Democrat Party has finally admitted Barack Obama is not qualified to be president of the United States– and that it doesn’t matter.

According to a motion filed by Party attorneys in a Tennessee eligibility lawsuit, “…Defendants [the Tennessee Democrat Party and the Democrat National Committee] assert that the Tennessee Democrat Party has the right to nominate whoever it chooses to run as a candidate, including someone who is not qualified for the office.” (emphasis added)

Three Years for “Dessert”: Dems Fear that the time lag on Obama Care Implementation may Hurt as much as the “Stimulus”

     Even if Barack Obama gets some legislation to sign as health care reform, the basic tenets of it will not be effective until AFTER the next President is elected, whether it be Tim Pawlenty, Sarah Palin, or Hillary Clinton. But in our “want it now” mind set, that may cause the Democrats some problems:

Under the Democratic bills, federal tax credits to help make health insurance affordable for millions of low- and middle-income households won’t start flowing until 2013 — after the next presidential election. But Medicare cuts and a sizable chunk of the tax increases to pay for the overhaul kick in immediately.

The eat-your-vegetables-first approach is causing heartburn for some Democrats. Three years is a long time to wait for dessert, and opponents could capitalize on misgivings about the complex legislation to undo what would be a signature achievement for Obama.

“The real danger is that health reform could be vulnerable to what we see with the stimulus package,” said Democratic health policy consultant Peter Harbage, referring to criticism that Obama’s $787 billion economic plan hasn’t stemmed rising unemployment. “There needs to be more focus on what can you do quickly so that real people will start seeing change sooner, rather than later.”

Media Malpractice: Should be Required Viewing in every Journalism Class

     If Roger Williams College can make Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” required viewing for a global climate class, John Ziegler’s “Media Malpractice” must be required viewing for ALL Journalism classes.

     I have just had the opportunity to watch the two hour documentary, and for all those who think it is a bashing of Barack Obama, it is not so. For those who think it is a means of justifying Sarah Palin, it is not that either. What it is is an indictment on the media, its blatant bias, its abuse of its power over the airwaves!! Anderson Cooper and Campbell Brown should be removed from the set immediately, and Katie Couric and Charlie Gibson should make public apologies to the American Nation.

     The media owes this country an apology for its bias, for its lack of vetting of the empty suit that “they” elected.

      As Mr. Ziegler points out, he is not a Republican, but a Libertarian, who has always to Democratic Party causes. What he warns of is the fact that if the media and the American public do not realize the abuse that the media committed in 2008, we are destined to have our democratic process completely diminished.

From Denver, A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

    As Senator McCain and Gov. Palin address a large crowd in Colorado Springs, CO, the crowd received 1000′s of flags. The flags, it seems, were “rescued” after Sen. Barack H. Obama accepted the Democratic Presidential nomination with his lackluster oration at Invesco field. “Thousands” of AMERICAN Flags were found during the cleanup of Invesco field, and were turned over to the McCain campaign, who decided to distribute them at today’s rally.

      Senator McCain asked the crowd to respect the flag that they were handed, respect it and ALL that it represents. Obama, attempting a spin, tried to blame the vendors at Invesco Field, for the flags that were found in garbage bags at or around dumpsters at the Invesco Field. Obama has insinuated that the Mccain camp “stole” the flags to embarass Obama. Howver, according to the stories coming from Denver, a vendor found the flags, and turned them over to the RNC.
