A mere few days past the 40th anniversary marking the Watergate break in the led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon, and the Obama White House now appears to be evolving past its Jimmy Carter reputation into the abyss of Nixononia……………
Just minutes before the House Oversight Committee is to vote on the the Contempt Citation against AG Eric Holder and move ot to the floor of the House, the AG has requested that the White House grant Executive Privilege to the documents that the House committee had been requesting regarding the botched Fast and Furious Operation that ultimately led to the death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. Of course, the White House immediately asserted the Executive Privilege.
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) would not accept Holder’s offer of a “briefing” on the documents. The bottomline is: Who Knew What, When, and Are they Still Making Decisions?
Evoking one of my favorite actresses, Bette Davis, hold on, ’cause its gone be a bumpy ride!!
