What’s ridiculous is that law enforcement officers, acting as agents of the state, while violated freedom of speech and freedom of assembly while they did nothing to address those actively breaking the law; those people who were committing assault should have been arrested. If anything, this is an example of the ridiculous state of policing in Michigan.

They showed up looking for trouble and they found it. They do this every year with their video camera and their hateful signs trying to incite people and then post it on YouTube pretending to be victims. They’re lucky they didn’t start a riot.
Just because something is legal doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to do. This is an annual street fair for Muslim families to come together and have a good time. It’s shameful that these Christians feel the need to ruin what would otherwise have been a fun family outing.
Vacation Bible School season should be starting soon. Perhaps Muslim or Atheists should assemble on public property in front of Christian churches with vile signs and scream hate speech through a megaphone. That would be totally acceptable, right? After all, freedom of speech, assembly, etc…

Difference is… the Christians would come out from their vacation bible school and hand them tracts and tell them that Jesus loves them… Not throw stones, bottles and urine. Dearborn will be the birthplace of sharia law in this country… Wait and see.

That festival wasn’t a Muslim festival, but an Arab festival. There were Christians there as well. Yet these so-called Christians told them all to “go back to their country”, held signs that were outright insulting to Muslim religion, and actually carried a freaking severed pig’s head with them!
As a resident of the Metro Detroit area, I know for a fact that the Arab population isn’t violent. They give to the community, their children are friends with people of all races and colors, and they never cause any trouble.
Of course, what do I know? It’s just my word against video evidence, right?
