Despite the President’s pronouncement that the private sector is “doing fine”, the economic news emanating the airwaves in the past days, hours, is all but FINE.
The May housing sales numbers show a decline from prior months, despite the lowest mortgage interest rates in modern history.
The manufacturing sector showed signs of further contraction.
The stock market closed yesterday down nearly 300 points amid the banking turmoil, with Moody’s lowering the credit ratings of some of the Big Players.
With downgrades to the likes of Bank of America, Citigroup, and JP Morgan, the stories of the implosion of some of these “too big to fail” institutions are abounding.
But there is always the news that gas may be as low as $3.00/gallon by the Fall……………… we will just not have any $$$$ to buy it with!

I keep hearing about the $3.00 gas where is it, certinly not here in my area.
Remember when slick willy was runnning the show it was the economy stupid? I can’t even think of what kind of slogan you could come up with now to do justice to the state of affairs we are living under.
None of this was uncontrollable circumstances this was by design and whether he has another term or not he did exaclty what TPTB wanted him to do so in their little circle he will get his bonus and we will get the shaft as usual. If anyone was listening to the liar in cheat before he got elected he stated exactly what he was going to do and he did just that with the help of the treasonous conservative criminals in congress.
A doctor called in on the rush show today and he said he was seeing this patient and the patient asked the doctor if he knew where he could get his obama phone. The doctor was totally shocked about the free cell phone situation. Then we have the radio advertisements to encourage people to come in and sign up for their food stamps.
We need to play Satchmo’s, ” What A Wonderful World.”

I know this is off topic, but a few threads ago you posted a story about George Zimmerman, and a comment was posted by journeythroughnews which linkied to a thread suggesting 5 reason’s George would have a hard time staying out of prison.
I read the article and responded, and as you may know, my response was put in to moderation. NOW it has been deleted and my other comments have been deleted also, and it seems as if the comments on this article has been “closed”.
To me this shows one of the problems with our people. When shown the FACTS, they simply ignore them and continue to believe what they want to believe.
And now this week, a video of George’s account of the incident.
Here’s the FULL version of Georges account of what happened:
It’s a very interesting 15 minutes, starting at when George left his home and first saw Trayvon.
I hadn’t heard the WHOLE version before, and the 2 minute clips on the news really doesn’t do the video “justice”.
I always like to know the WHOLE story before I come to a conclusion.
Seeing the video, seeing George’s head bandaged in two places, seeing what looks like either blood, or a cut on the side of George’s nose, seeing what looks like a nose that is askew when you see him in profile, seeing BOTH of his eyes with what looks like the start of some pretty bad black eyes (anyone who has had a black eye knows that it takes a few days to look it’s worse), and listening to George’s account (he doesn’t stutter or stammer, and he is correcting himself repeatedly in the video which tells me that he is TRYING to be accurate), I can only come to the conclusion that George has nothing to hide.
What the media is doing to INDOCTRINATE the viewers is disgusting.
What this is, at least to me, is the COMPLETE fabrication of a “story”.
Trayvon is made out to be some kind of “saint”, while George is labled as a “criminal” for something that happened 7 years ago.
The FACTS are that the ONLY reason Trayvon was staying in the gated community is because he was SUSPENDED from school. It is suspected that Trayvon was suspended for swinging on a bus driver. On Feb 21 of THIS year, Trayvon was asked on his twitter account about Trayvon having “swung on a bus driver”.
The FACTS are that he was also suspended for writting graffiti on a locker, and when he was brought in to be accused, he had a backpack that had a screwdriver and some women’s jewelry in it. .
The FACTS are Trayvon was suspended from school multiple times.
The FACTS are that Trayvon’s twitter “name” was NO_LIMIT_NIGGA and that there was a post on Travon’s facebook account on Feb 5th of THIS year that stated, “Damn were u at a nigga needa plant.”
The FACTS are that Trayvon is seen in a video of a street fight where it looks and sounds like he is “egging” the participants on.
The FACTS are that Trayvon wasn’t the baby faced kid seen in the photo, but a kid who it appears has all of his lower teeth in gold, with multiple tattoos.
So when you look at the video, with a little more FACTS about who Trayvon actually was, you have a better understanding of how the incident COULD have taken place the way George describes.

IB: In our 24/7 era of news sensationalism, the press were not out to report the news, but to make it. Bottomline, the police and the prosecutors did not feel that an arrest was warranted. But after the media, led by Sharpton, made it out as a race issue, they had no choice but to respond.
Unfortunately, the way that Zimmerman and his wife manipulated the monies, he has a rough road ahead.

And now the police chief has lost his job. He offered his resignation when the crap hit the fan, but it was rejected, only so they the city board can look like they “did something”.
And isn’t it simply disgusting that people with the moral character of Sharpton and Jackson even get the time of day?
I mean Sharpton, to this DAY, will tell you he believes the STORY Tawana Brawley tells.

George made a mistake not disclosing the money, no doubt about it.
