from Hillbuzz:

Congressman Allen West is a future United States President.

The man is going to change everything someday:  he will personally destroy the Race Industry, and will more likely than not provide the final clobbering to the Cocktail Party GOP establishment.

I swear, I want an action figure of Allen West sitting on my desk inspiring me to write letters like the above to terrible people.

West is the perfect VP choice for 2012…and presidential pick in 2020.

Go, West, Go!

Marine – Aisle Seat

Posted on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 1:45:15 PM by MNDude

Two Arabs boarded a flight out of London. One took a window seat and the other sat next to him in the middle seat.

Just before takeoff, a U.S. Marine sat down in the aisle seat.

After takeoff the Marine kicked his shoes off, wiggled his toes and was settling in when the Arab in the window seat said ‘I need to get up and get a coke.’ ‘Don’t get up,’ said the Marine ‘I’m in the aisle seat, ‘I’ll get it for you.’

As soon as he left one of the Arabs picked up the Marines shoe and spat in it. When the Marine returned with the coke, the other Arab said, ‘That looks good. I’d really like one too.’ Again, the Marine obligingly went to fetch it.

While he was gone the other Arab picked up the Marines other shoe and spat in it. When the Marine returned they all sat back and enjoyed the flight.

As the plane was landing the Marine slipped his feet into his shoes and knew immediately what had happened. He leaned over and asked his Arab neighbors, ‘Why does it have to be this way?’

‘How long must this go on? This fighting between our nations? This hatred? This animosity? This spitting in shoes and pissing in cokes?

From Big Journalism”

Why would a journalist for MSNBC sit on an explosive story for over a week and allow her company’s competitors to report on it first? It’s hard to believe that the answer to that question is anything but political bias.

By now we’ve all heard the inflammatory and divisive rhetoric Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN) spewed at an August 22nd “Job’s Fair” sponsored by the Congressional Black Caucus. . . .

The statement was featured at Breitbart.tv and has been reported by ABC News, Fox News, Washington Post, NY Times, Huffington Post, CNN, USA Today, NY Daily News and many local news outlets. Yet a search of “Andre Carson” on MSNBC.com turns up nothing about this story. And that’s curious considering one of MSNBC’s daytime anchors was sitting only a few feet away from Carson when he made the statement.

Tamron Hall, host of MSNBC’s “NewsNation” was the moderator for the “For the People” Jobs Initiative event in Miami on August 22nd. In fact, you can hear Rep. Carson refer to Hall when he makes his statement. He says: “I’m sorry Tamron” right before he accuses his fellow congressman of wanting to lynch the people in the room.

“The next day, I told my 8th graders that unless they quieted down, I would hold them after school. It didn’t work. Tried again. And again. Finally, as the school day ended, I stood by the door.

“No one is leaving.” I said. “You’re all staying after school for 10 minutes.”

“But eight and a half minutes into this after-school faceoff, Ms. P pushed her way in.”

“What is going on here?!” she shouted, her mouth agape and her long thin eyebrows arched so high that they resembled treacherous ski slopes.”

“The kids erupted again with a full dramatic account. I had overstepped “the force of my personality.” And with Ms. P’s forced entry into the room, I looked pretty damn foolish.”

“Ms. P concluded that I shouldn’t be left alone with children, and reported the incident to the police and the Department of Education as “corporal punishment.” Typically, that involves hitting or physically abusing a kid. But Ms. P said she couldn’t think of another way to characterize me standing by the door for 10 minutes while the kids yelled at me. There was a disciplinary hearing, but as my representative from the United Federation of Teachers pointed out, “losing it” is not a clinical term. So Ms. P settled for putting a letter in my file full of words such as “dangerous,” “unsafe,” “alarmed,” “barricaded” and “insubordinate.”"

Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry continued his attack on Social Security over the weekend, calling it a “Ponzi scheme” and a “monstrous lie” to younger Americans who should not expect to get back their contributions upon retirement.

“It is a Ponzi scheme for these young people. The idea that they’re working and paying into Social Security today, that the current program is going to be there for them, is a lie,” Perry said, according to the Houston Chronicle.

“It is a monstrous lie on this generation, and we can’t do that to them,” Perry told a crowd a The Vine Coffeehouse in Ottumwa, Iowa.

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – President Barack Obama’s uncle was stopped on suspicion of drunken driving in Massachusetts, told police he planned to arrange bail through the White House and is being held without bail by federal immigration officials, authorities said Monday.

Onyango Obama, 67, was arrested last week in Framingham, about 20 miles west of Boston, after police said he made a rolling stop through a stop sign and nearly caused a cruiser to strike his sport utility vehicle.

Police said that after being booked at the police station, Obama was asked whether he wanted to make a telephone call to arrange for bail. “I think I will call the White House,” he stated, according to a police report filed in Framingham District Court.

Police said Obama, who is originally from Kenya and is the half-brother of the president’s late father, pleaded not guilty Friday and is being held without bail on a detainer from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. In a court document, ICE said Onyango Obama had an earlier deportation or removal order.

Tradition has dictated that the tomb remain guarded at all times. There has been at least one soldier watching over the tomb since the Army’s 3rd Infantry Regiment took over the mission a few years after the end of World War II. A sentinel is present 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, including holidays.

When it rains, the guard stands under a green nylon tent that’s used for wreath-laying ceremonies to shield him from the inclement weather. As the winds start to pick up Saturday afternoon and into Sunday, he will then, if necessary, move into what’s known as the “Memorial Display Room,” essentially a marble enclosure that holds plaques and other honoraria dedicated to the unknown soldiers. From there, the guard will have “a continual line of sight on the tomb,” Miller said.

There’s been severe in the past. There will be severe weather in the future. We have contingency plans.

This is short, and it is brief, and in these 28 seconds, one knows the bond that NAVY SEAL Jon Tomlinson and “Hawkeye” had:

Long battling pancreatic cancer, the man who redefined the computer industry, Steve Jobs, has resigned as Apple’s CEO, effective immediately.

He stated that he has always said that when he could no longer handle his duties, he would step aside for the welfare of the company. He said that unfortunately, that day has come.

No reason was given for his resignation, but many speculate that his health has taken a turn for the worse. Investors have reacted, and the shares in Apple have fallen 5% in the after hours trading.
