TSA “Full Body Scanners”: Agents Grope Us while the Politicians Shaft Us

So which elected officials own stakes in full-body scanning machines now in more than 60 U.S. airports? And what are those individual investments worth?
We still can’t connect the dots to say that, because these Congressmen invested in these tech companies, than, ipso facto, those scanners were then put in place at airports across the country, now the subject of controversy.
But the Center for Responsive Politics says it’s done the legwork and after reviewing the most recent personal financial disclosure filings, found eight members of Congress — three Democrats and five Republicans – who owned at least $2,000 worth of stock in L-3 Communications, which is a government contractor purportedly involved in the full-body scanning machines.
The watchdog group says Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) owns the most stock in L-3 Communications — with a minimum investment of at least $500,000 and a maximum value of $1 million. Congressional financial disclosure forms allow Congressmen to report their assets in broad ranges.
However, that L-3 Communications stock is owned by his wife, Teresa Heinz, the Center says.
It also says that Republican Reps. Michael Castle (R-Del.) and Michael McCaul (R-Texas) “both disclosed possessing between $16,002 and $65,000 worth of L-3 Communications stock in 2009.”

“Courses correcting” America’s direction is the driving force for Colonel Mike McCalister (USAR,Ret.) who is announcing his candidacy to become Florida’s next U.S. Senator in 2012. To underscore his conservative views McCalister has chosen to make his intentions known on the conservative http://coachisright.com website.
Challenging Democrat Bill Nelson’s 38 years on the public dole, the 51 year old Air Force Special Operations Senior Manager says our federal government has overreached its authority and threatens to choke the vitality out of the rights of our states as protected by our Constitution’s 10th Amendment.
“Personal freedoms are continuingly being eroded and America needs a serious course correction before it’s too late,” McCalister said.
Specific goals of Col. McCalister include reduction in the size of our federal government, tax cuts and a fair tax percentage system that abolishes the IRS, serious border protection and a strong U.S. national defense to protect “against the growing threat from aggressor nations and radical Islam.”
McCalister who was the Subject Matter Expert for a Congressional Hearing on National Security issues and served on strategic Pentagon committees knows his way around Washington yet offers a sharp contrast to Florida’s career politician Bill Nelson.
“Nelson votes a straight Democrat Party line supporting the Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi Barack Obama brand of socialism. He has been in governmental political offices for nearly 40 years. All he’s done is work for government,” says[Geoff] Ross….
By announcing this week on this conservative online venue, McCalister intends to send a clear signal of the seriousness of his intentions to enlist the help of like minded TEA party planners, activists and voters to join in his effort to show career politician Bill Nelson the door.

Without addressing questions regarding the apparent assignment of a Connecticut-based Social Security number to President Barack Obama, who reportedly spent his growing-up years in Hawaii and Indonesia, the federal agency now is moving quickly to make certain such questions never come up again about political figures.
The administration is starting down a path that is intended to randomize all future Social Security numbers – a move critics allege is designed to make it impossible to tell where any future Social Security number is issued.
In a notice currently published on the Social Security Administration website, the SSA announces Social Security numbers issued in the future will be randomized starting on or about June 25, 2011.
The Social Security Administration did not respond to WND questions on the issue.
Obama’s Social Security number issued in Connecticut
But WND previously reported that Obama currently is using a Social Security number that was issued in Connecticut sometime between 1977 to 1979, even though Obama’s earliest employment reportedly was in 1975 at a Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop in Oahu, Hawaii.

WikiLeaks Already Announces Next “Dump”: A Major Bank/Financial Institution

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange told Forbes that early next year, a major U.S. bank will suddenly find itself turned inside out.
And now everyone’s clamoring to find out which bank will be the subject of the massive data breach.
Will it be the biggest US bank? Asked Forbes’ Andy Greenberg, who interviewed Assange.
“No comment,” said Assange.
The one clue we get is this:
“With regard to these corporate leaks, I should say: There’s an overlap between corporate and government leaks.”
Perhaps that means it’s a bailed out bank. But really, no one has a clue.
Here’s the bulk of what Assange did say:
Tens of thousands of its internal documents will be exposed on Wikileaks.org with no polite requests for executives’ response or other forewarnings.
The data dump will lay bare the finance firm’s secrets on the Web for every customer, every competitor, every regulator to examine and pass judgment on.
Early next year, the Wikileaks document, which Assange compares to containing the damning e-mails that poured out of the Enron trial, will hit.
Obviously this is huge news. We’ll have to wait for more information.

Sustainable Communities

Familiarize yourselves with the concept of Sustainable Communities, and then look at what your local governments are doing:
Social engineering by the federal government goes beyond regional government and reaches into counties, cities and towns. Often encouraged by the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives, the National Council of Mayors, the National Association of County Commissioners and the promise of federal grants, local communities are falling all over themselves to become politically correct sustainable communities.
Sustainable communities present three problems: 1) the initiative for a community to become a sustainable community almost always comes from outside the community; 2) the comprehensive plan through which a community is transformed into a sustainable community always infringes, and in many instances completely destroys, private property rights; and 3) the local community rarely knows anything about the plan until it reaches the final stages of adoption.
This process, of course, is by design. In communities that have been transformed, individuals may discover that they cannot build a house for grandma on five acres of their own land because the county’s comprehensive plan requires no more than one home per 40 acres. Many communities discover that their comprehensive plan includes a provision to incorporate by reference the entire set of 13 different codes developed by the International Code Council. Each of these codes amounts to government dictating human behavior.
