heyy,
“Pot meet kettle”
When are you going to learn that you start a sentence with a CAPITAL LETTER?
And when you put does and not together there is supposed to be an apostrophe between the N and the T.
I’m not one to be judging here, as much as I make mistakes, but when someone does it in the context of correcting someone else for doing it, I feel they are fair game. (Boy I hope I didn’t make any mistakes in this comment)

LOL
Should have been 2 separate sentences, too.
“Reads” like we have some prejudice folks here… they don’t like southern accents.
Is that some sort of “racism” ?
I figure any way to keep a buck in MY pocket, instead of the gubments expense budget, is the AMERICAN WAY.

Gutsy.
American’s have allowed “political correctness” to kill our culture. YES, WE have a culture.
Ever go to Paris and try to order a meal, without at least showing an effort to speak french?
Ever go to Miami and try to get directions?
Tired of being asked to “press 1 for english” ?

For some reason, I doubt that a multi-lingual DMV is the least of Alabama’s problems. This guy is a clown.

@ mrje Have you ever been to Paris? If you go to any tourist area, almost of the restaurants have their menus translated into English.
I’ve been to Miami several times and have never had difficulty communicating with anyone in English, even in Little Havana.
Also, how does pressing an extra phone button kill your culture?
I’ve been to Europe and South America and looking at the current pace of globalization, it doesn’t seem like there is any real threat to American or Western culture. In fact, it is quite the opposite. English has become the lingua franca in most countries, even between non-native speakers of different languages. So I think putting drivers tests in different languages in order to help non-native English speakers is hardly “killing” our culture.
