With the White House attempting to “neuter” the US Chamber of Commerce, and to villianize FOXNews, Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) went to the Senate floor to issue a stern warning directed at the White House. Alexander is the last Nixon White House aide still in public service, and, as he stressed from the floor of the Senate, he know’s, we know, how the Nixon “enemies list” turned out.

Let us suppose that the parties are once again changing alliances. History does repeat itself.

Hey All,
BOTH Parties treat our Country as their “playground” with little concern for the “health” of the Country.
The responsibility of our Government is to do what is right for our COUNTRY, not it’s citizens.
Don’t they see that our COUNTRY is bankrupt? What are they going to do about THAT?
A sound fiscal policy would do wonders for our economy.
BOTH parties have spent like drunken idiots. This is evidenced by the 8000 earmarks in the omnibus spending bill, the stimulus bills, and the TARP money which just keeps on being printed.
Why haven’t I heard much about the almost 40 financial institutions can’t pay back the TARP money? I thought we were going to “make” money on the bailout.
