Hey All,
I was on the tee of the fifth hole at a golf course here in Indiana. I happened to be on vacation that week. I had on head phones listening to The Bob and Tom Show, and they announced that it looked like something had hit one of the twin towers. They talked about how much of a tragic “accident” it was, but then a few minutes later, after the second tower was hit, they started contemplating about it being a deliberate act against the US. I told the green’s keepers about what I was listening too, and they hurried up to the clubhouse.
When I made “the turn”, I got my first look at the towers spewing smoke like a couple of smoke stacks in at a steel mill in Pittsburgh. I didn’t think much about it, so I continued my round. Both towers had fallen by the time I was done.
I made it home and turned on the TV when I got home and watched the coverage the rest of the day.
We can NEVER forget what those cowards did to our Country on that day…………..NEVER.
