The large unknown cost, and the growing resentment of unfettered spending by our legislators may be causing the Obama administration to face its greatest loss, the failure to reform healthcare before this Fall. And Fall was an imperative, so the plan was “functioning” and “successful” as a campaign tool for the 2010 elections!
How Obama could lose health fight
President Obama’s campaign for health care reform by this fall, once considered highly likely to succeed, suddenly appears in real jeopardy.
Top White House advisers, especially chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, are still privately predicting massive changes to the health care system in 2009. But for the first time, Democrats on Capitol Hill and in the administration are expressing frank worries about stronger-than-expected opposition from moderate Democrats and worse-than-expected estimates for how much the plan could cost.

While Obama remains “present” in every facet of his administration’s production, he is unintentionally becoming more and more transparent.
He cannot make a decision.
He has no real beliefs.
Does he have allegiance to THIS Country, The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ?
I am a huge fan of Charles Krauthammer. His recent article is not related specifically to healthcare, but relates directly to Obama’s inability and neglect, to take a stand on any issue. (below)
The teflon-man, with all his czar’s, will not have to take credit or blame for anything… just as he did as a senator… he is only “present”.
He is the hollow-head that many predicted.

Hey All,
I have a couple “changes” I’d like to see.
Close the FDA, and stop regulating the industry.
You want to see prices coming down, that would do it.
I honestly do not see why the Government is so against the Insurance Companies. We pay the premiums for them to find the best care for us. If people would find companies that treat their clients in a respectful, honest way, then more companies would do this.
It’s called free market. The system works as long as you let it work. The more restrictions and regulations you put on it, the less effective it is.
I am confused as to why the Government would want to get in to the Health Care business in the first place. Haven’t they learned their lesson from Medicaid and Medicare?
I just scratch my head in disbelief.
