Today, I received a gift, Mark Levin’s “Liberty and Tyranny”. This is from the jacket cover:
“We all declare for LIBERTY; but in using the same word we do not all mean the same thing. With some the word Liberty may mean for each man to do as he pleases with himself, and the product of his labor; while with others, the same word may mean for some men to do as they please with other men, and the product of other men’s labor. Here are two, not only different, but incompatible things, called by the same name- LIBERTY. And it follows that each of the things is, by the respective parties, called by two different and incompatible names- LIBERTY and TYRANNY.”
Abraham Lincoln, 1864

Hey All,
The more we go down the path of thinking the Government knows what is best for us, the more we will lose our liberty.
I was talking to someone at work today about some cities banning smoking in a car with kids in it. This person seemed to think that this was a good idea.
I to them that at some point and time we are going to look back and ask ourselves “When did we go wrong?”. It just amazes me that people don’t care unless it affects them.
They think this or that is fine, it doesn’t bother me. But then when something does affect them, they are all like, “How can they do this?”
The Government is dictating personal responsibility to the point where people can not be individuals anymore. We are all eventually going to be “mind numbed robots” .
Wake up before it’s too late people, we are America!!!
