Getting right to work at setting the course for the Republican National Committee, Michael Steele has targetted three key races for the Republicans to focus on to begin its revitalization.
The first race is the 20th Congressional District in New York for the seat being vacated by Kristen Gillbrand, who is now the U.S. Senator from New York, in Hillary Clinton’s seat. The other two key races are the Governorship’s of Virginia and New Jersey. Steele says that mapping out a winning strategy in these three areas will provide a foundation for both 2010 and 2012 elections.
Steele says their strategy must maintain what they have now, not losing any seats, as well as building a solid base to add seats to the Republican side.

What, now we go and find our own “magic Negro”?
This is a very, very sad day for America. The election of Steele proves that the Republican party will not go in the direction they need to for the sake of our country. They can expect to be in the minority for quite some time to come.
Are you a true conservative or just a kool aid drinker? If you are a true conservative then you would listen to what this other true conservative has to say about him.

Steve Deace is so right about him.
He’s a RINO. On that we can be clear. This proves that the Republican Party’s move to the Left might be a permanent legacy of the Bush years.

Hey All,
I don’t see what Greg’s issue is.
I have listened to Steele on many different programs during the campaign season, and liked what I heard.
He seems to be a smaller government, lower taxes and cutting spending type of guy.
I consider myself very conservative, but I do not mind in the slightest what sexual orientation someone is. I don’t want it flaunted in my face, because I judge people by the content of their character, not on what they want to do in their own bedroom. I don’t appreciate hetrosexuals flaunting their sexuality in my face either. I believe that is the main point, don’t flaunt your sexuality, it is not respectful of anyone when you “make out” in public, no matter what your sexual orientation is. I am definately against gay “marriage”, but would not be against a “civil union” for same sex couples. I believe it is a choice, but so is getting married, living together without marriage, or divorce.
And as far as abortion goes, I’m not against abortion as long as the Government does not pay for it. Again, I think this is the main issue, not whether it is available, but that we are paying for it. If a woman decides it is best for her after consulting with a Doctor, her parents, the “sperm donor”, and her spiritual advisor (whoever that would be), then as long as the public is not paying for it, I really do not have an issue with it.
I do not think it is the Government’s responsibility to dictate what we can and can not do in our personal life. We each have to live with our life decisions. I’m against no smoking ordinances, and also seat belt laws or anything else that does not affect other peoples lives.
Why do people think they should dictate to others?
I believe political platforms should be about Government, and not about personal decisions.
That should be left up to families, and spiritual counceling.

Greg is a racist. And he wants to put the Republican party on notice that our nation can only have one “negro” getting recognition at a time.
Steele has been around a long time and has been on all sides of many issues. He has a mind that is respected in all facets of politics and so far, he has my support.
Steele is a FREE thinking man. He is practically COLORLESS amongst those who have listened to him for many years.
His ideals are in his soul and only racists will think him otherwise.
I do not always agree with him… but he has my utmost respect.
