Thanksgiving Day– a day to give thanks for all the many blessings that God has given us!!
So we can take the time to be thankful for Family: The children have made the trek home for the big Turkey Day! And because we are free to worship as we want, we thank God for all of our bountiful blessings.
As a family bonding time, we took the time today to do as our President-elect says we conservatives like to do– hold tight to our Bible and to our guns!! Thus, after taking time to worship, we took the kids to the shooting range for target practice. For anyone doubting the news stories about the Obama effect on gun sales, we had the opportunity to see it first hand. The line at the gun counter looked as though they were in line for Holy Communion. In fact, some of them had been in line for Holy Communion at Mass!
God bless the Freedom of Religion, the Freedom of Speech, and the RIGHT to bear Arms!!
